I would recommend you to go BCE because of the first thing is that I am a BCEIAN & during my college time BCE is preferred over MIT Muzaffarpur. Nowadays BCE has another advantage over MIT is that the IIIT Bhagalpur is also there on the same campus & it is always beneficial for the placement & another purpose because the latter is a centrally funded institute. Also, the campus environment & students mingling is unique in BCE Bhagalpur as compared to MIT Muzaffarpur.

With your above mentioned ranks in different categories, it'll be quite difficult for you to get CSE in BCE Bhagalpur but you have fair chances of getting IT in MIT. 

I'll suggest you to wait till the final rounds of counselling as this can also fetch you a seat in CSE in BCE Bhagalpur.

Hii,i am here to help you according to your query.833 in general rank won't get you civil engineering in either MIT muzaffarpur or in BCE bhagalpur, at least not in first counselling.

But yes there stays a chance of getting civil, in 2nd counselling in either of the college .

Hello Nitin,Your BC rank is quite advantageous as it may help you in getting into your desirable branch in mmmut.While, general rank is not helping you alot as cutoffs of mmmut are quite high if considered through general category so try using your BC rank to get into mmmut.All the best!!

as per the previous years cutoff you have no chances in bhagalpur engineering college in civil engineering branch. last years closing rank was 1000+.  and madras institute of technology recruits btech admission through tancet exam.

Your UGEAC rank in General as well as EWS rank is good so you have pretty good chance of getting MIT through your EWS rank. In past approx 2300 was for ECE

 So you have quite good chances of getting into MIT through your UGEAC Counselling.
