Hello Pratik,
With 65% in jee main and 49% in CET it is not possible to get admission in MIT college pune. You can try writing their entrance exam conducted every year. If you have scored good marks in 12th boards you can apply with those marks. Lastly you can apply through management or vacany quota if none of above works.

Hi Pop, congratulations for getting a good rank in TNEA 2019.

With this good rank, you can easily get admission in MIT or SSN, both of these. You can choose different branches of you desire. To know more about the closing ranks of previous years, visit the following link:

Hi Anuj Jain,

When you say Anna University you include CEG,MIT,ACT,SAP campus.  So madras institute of technology doesn't feature separately in ranking list. The Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) is an engineering institute located in Chromepet, Chennai (Madras), India. It is one of the four autonomous constituent colleges (University Departments) of Anna University .

Anna University is on the 8th Rank in the NIRF Rank.

hope it gives you a little more clarity.

Hi Sanjeet,

Congrats on your TNEA rank. You have good chances of getting into CEG, MIT and PSG for the following courses. These courses and college was chosen based on their previous year closing rank and other factors.

  • CEG, Guindy (IT, Biomedical, Manufacturing)
  • MIT, Chennai (CSE, Aero, ECE, Mech, IT)
  • PSG, Coimbatore (IT, Mech, ECE, CSE, Civil, Bio Tech, Bio Med)

You can check this college predictor to know in which other colleges you can get admission.

Your chancea are almost nil. But you may have to get into branches like biotech.

Hey,

National institutes of technology but they wont be the 1st or 2nd tier. You can aim for the 3rd tier NITs which are not so bad either. But if you have given any other entrance exam, keep your options open.

You can try the following north east nits

Nit sikkim

Nit mizoram

Nit arunachal pradesh

Etc

Hey there,

You would be getting into MIT, PSG, Anna University,  SSN. As per previous cut offs, you do het a CSE in MIT. At Anna University,  Tiruchirapally you do have a chance to get into all the branches. Also, PSG might be a little difficult than SSN to bag a CSE branch.

Good luck!

Hello student,
Since you belong to the BC category, getting CSE is a little difficult in Anna University, College of engineering, Guindy campus. CSE is the most opted branch among candidates and thus it gets filled with a cut off score of 198 or above itself and does not come beyond that. But in MIT, you can Procure a seat for sure in CSE branch. Remembered that, With a cut off difference of 0.25 you will be pushed behind a lot of competitors. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, by which nothing can be predicted for sure as trends change every year. However you can go through the following link to know about the cut off's and ranks for the previous years and calculate your chances of selection
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-b-arch-b-planning/amp
Good luck

You have really got a good. Score for the ghe type of admissions you are willing to seek into.you can certainly take admission into that collegy but not particularly into CSE branch. However you need to wait for the counselling  session gor the allotment of the seats. You might get a seat of your choice, but as a backup you need to look into it.

Mr.Sabari Soma

As per your cutoff you may get seat in Rubber and Plastic technology by refering your cutoff to previous year cutoff. For remaining courses cutoff is not enough to get seat in MIT university.

I hope this helps you.
