Maharaja Agrasen College of Higher Education, Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, is a comparatively young college. The college provides various undergraduate courses and has a well-planned admission process to identify worthy candidates. The college aims to impart quality education and strictly follows the policies of the UT administration, state government, and university selection criteria.

The admission procedure at Maharaja Agrasen College of Higher Education is mainly based on merit, considering the marks secured in the qualifying examination. Degree wise Admission Process

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration):
The intake of the BBA course at Maharaja Agrasen College of Higher Education is 60 seats. The admission to this course is on merit basis of the qualifying examination (10+2). Eligible candidates from any stream of 10+2 (Science, Commerce, or Arts) are allowed to apply, subject to the fulfilling of minimum percentage requirement fixed by the college.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications):
The BCA program also has 60 seats. The admission process for BCA is the same as that of BBA, and the selections are done on the basis of merit of the 10+2 exam. Having a background of Mathematics or Computer Science would be favorable, but not compulsory.

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The B.Ed course has an approved intake of 100 seats. Admission to the course is more stringent, taking into account both marks secured in the qualifying examination and performance in an entrance test. The college adheres to the guidelines laid down by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for B.Ed admissions.

B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education):
The B.El.Ed course has 50 seats. Admission to this four-year degree program in elementary teacher education is merit-based on the qualifying examination (10+2 Senior secondary examination). An entrance exam or other selection process as per the policy of the affiliating university can also be carried out.

Documents required for the application process are usually:

  • Passport size photographs
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • Character certificate from the last institution attended
  • Category certificate (if necessary)
  • Any other certificate or documents as required by the college
