The infrastructure is very good. The college provides fully AC classrooms, good lab facilities, multi storied library, and multiple grounds and canteens for students. The space and the campus is neat and clean and the food in all the canteens are hygienic.
Good infrastructure, there are 11 blocks in total with 8 for technology department, 9th block is for management courses which is called maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Management Studies, then 11th blocks is for MABS for business courses overall good
college infrastructure is not that good as it is made in old fashioned style , classrooms are badly mantained,Auditorium is small, sports facility are poor, Stands is one of the best place in college,
Hello Kavya,
If your main interest is in CSE , then go for CSE in MAIT via IPU .
Even though DTU is a better college overall, getting a branch you are not interested in (like Mechanical) may not keep you motivated. In the long run, branch matters more than college , especially in fields like computer science where there are many job opportunities.
But if you are open to learning coding on your own and want the DTU tag, you can still take Mechanical at DTU and try for branch change later (though it's not easy and depends on first-year performance), or you can learn coding side-by-side.
But to keep it simple:
If CSE is your priority , go for MAIT CSE .
If college name matters more to you , then you can think about DTU Mechanical .
Hope this helps !
Hello Amit,
With a 92 percentile in JEE Mains, you have a solid chance of securing admission to colleges like MAIT (Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology), MSIT (Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology), and BVP (Bharati Vidyapeeth University) for B.Tech, depending on the branch and the category you belong to.
1. MAIT & MSIT (Delhi):
Cutoff
: For branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, the cutoff is generally between 90-95 percentile in JEE Mains.
Counseling
: Both MAIT and MSIT take part in Delhi University counseling, and admission is based on the rank and availability of seats.
Reservation
: If you're from a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), you may get an advantage in the cutoffs.
2. BVP (Pune):
BVP CET
: While BVP conducts its own entrance exam, students with a good JEE Mains percentile often get a direct entry, especially for courses like CSE, ECE, and Mechanical Engineering.
Cutoff
: For popular branches, cutoffs range between 90-95 percentile in JEE Mains, but you'll need to clear the BVP CET for final admission.
Reservation : The university also provides reservations, which could help you if you're from a reserved category.
Make sure to check each college’s official website or counseling portal for the most accurate and updated information. Also, keep an eye on the cutoffs for the specific branches you’re interested in.

Hello,
You may get admission to a Management and IT (MAIT) college , but it depends on several factors:
1. Most good colleges require at least 50-60% in 12th for admission. Some may accept lower marks.
2. Some colleges admit students through entrance exams like IPU CET, while others take direct admission.
3. If you belong to any reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), you might get relaxation in eligibility criteria.
If you don’t get admission in top colleges, you can look for other private colleges with lower cutoffs.
Hope it helps !
