UPES B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest Package 1.3 CR , 100% Placements | Last Date to Apply: 28th April
Hello there,
If you are looking form placement point of view then MSIT CSE will be better than GB Pant Government College. And also MSIT is in better location than GB Pant. In MIST infrastructure, faculty are also better. If you see the ranking of both the colleges then MSIT is above GB Pant.
GB Pant is good for Mechanical branch , so if you choose CSE branch then go with MSIT.
Good luck!!
Hey Abdul
I will brief both of these institutes for you so that you can choose the better one yourself.
MSIT Aurangabad- It has been ranked 87 for private engineering by Outlook 2019. The total fees is around 4 lakh for BTech in CSE (more or less) and the expected salary (average) in return is 3.5 lakh per annum. According to the students studying here the placement facility is not great and some students had to look for jobs on their own. Around 40% students get placed while almost all of them are given internship opportunities. If you are looking for campus drives and campus placements then maybe this college is not the one for you.
GB Pant- The BTech in CSE fees is around 1.7 lakh in total (more or less) with highest package being offered being 13 lakh per annum and ab=n average of 3.5 lakh per annum. Around 70% of the students get placed from CSE in companies like Infosys, Unthinkable, Amazon (non tech), Wipro, Paytm, Abode, Capgemini, HCL, and Tech Mahindra, etc .
As far as the faculty and infrastructure is concerned, it is good in both the colleges however GB Pant takes the lead in the curriculum as it is affiliated to GGSIPU so the same course curriculum is followed.
Hello,
Since you are interested to do a degree in a core subject like CSE, it is difficult to choose given the fact that you haven't mentioned what you wish to pursue after completion of your BTech degree.
MSIT provides good placement opportunities to their Undergrads and the faculty members are pretty helpful (that is, in comparison to Techno India Newtown). On the other hand, Techno India Newtown has poor placement records (2-3 LPA package) but has overall discipline and infrastructure.
I would personally suggest you to look for better colleges if you wish to pursue a UG degree in CSE. But given the choice between the two, go for MSIT.
Hope this helps.
College which does not have any EWS quota there you will be treated as a general category student .

hello aspirant
among these MAIT,BVP and MSIT i suggest you to choose MSIT. Because this college has NAAC A grade.in this college electric and electronical engineering stream is very good.this college provide quality education. The faculty here is highly professional and almost all of them are PH.D holders and here the faculty is very supportive.technical education in this stream is highly good. The students in this stream are placed at the time of placements and the placement training is best in this college. So i suggest you to choose Maharaja Surajmal Institute of technology.
i hope this could help you.
all the best.
Hello aspirant,
You can check the website of the colleges you prefer...and check the ratings...Cyber security and data science are good courses to pursue..Better have shortlist of colleges according to your cutoff marks.

Hello,
The admission in MSIT, delhi is done through GGSIPU counselling. For admission in B.tech a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with 55% aggregate.Must have qualified in JEE main paper 1.For admission in B.tech Biotechnology candidates must appear in IPU CET and admission is based on merit in IPU CET.
The residential facilities are comfortable and secure, providing students with a home away from home. Dormitories are equipped with amenities such as study lounges, laundry facilities, and recreational areas, fostering a supportive living environment conducive to academic success.
MSIT is under IP University and another renowned college after MAIT. Campus is not so big still not bad. Transport and food is easily available. Canteen offering good quality of food. Classroom, offices and Library is average.
According to me, it is a modern campus with all the necessary facilities. Students have access to updated classrooms, computer labs, and a library full of resources. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled which is not available most of the time. There are also medical services available for emergencies, offcourse it is important. The college has sports area. A new building is being constructed to make the campus even better.
