MSIT is under IP University and another renowned college after MAIT. Campus is not so big still not bad. Transport and food is easily available. Canteen offering good quality of food. Classroom, offices and Library is average.
According to me, it is a modern campus with all the necessary facilities. Students have access to updated classrooms, computer labs, and a library full of resources. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled which is not available most of the time. There are also medical services available for emergencies, offcourse it is important. The college has sports area. A new building is being constructed to make the campus even better.
Hello there,
If your son freezes the Bharti Vidyapeeth seat in the third round and pays the fee , it locks the seat and essentially means that he accepts the offer from that college.
Here’s what you need to know:
JOSAA Freeze Option
: Once you choose to "freeze" a seat and pay the fee, you are
not eligible
for further rounds of counseling, including
spot rounds
. This is because
freezing
signifies that you are satisfied with the allocated seat, and you're accepting it, preventing participation in further rounds.
Options After Freezing : If your son is serious about MSIT CS and doesn't want to risk losing that opportunity, it’s better not to freeze the seat at Bharti Vidyapeeth. Instead, you can opt for:
Float
or
Slide
options, which would allow you to retain the Bharti Vidyapeeth seat and try for MSIT in subsequent rounds.
Spot round participation
: If you freeze, you cannot participate in spot rounds. So, do not freeze the seat unless you're absolutely sure you want to take it and give up on MSIT.
Suggestion:
To ensure eligibility for MSIT and also keep Bharti Vidyapeeth as a backup, I would recommend not freezing the seat in the third round. Opt for the float option if possible and keep exploring through the next rounds, including the spot rounds . This will allow your son to try for MSIT while securing a seat at Bharti Vidyapeeth as a backup.
If you do freeze and pay the fee, you will lose eligibility for the spot rounds, so weigh the options carefully.

Hello Amit,
With a 92 percentile in JEE Mains, you have a solid chance of securing admission to colleges like MAIT (Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology), MSIT (Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology), and BVP (Bharati Vidyapeeth University) for B.Tech, depending on the branch and the category you belong to.
1. MAIT & MSIT (Delhi):
Cutoff
: For branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, the cutoff is generally between 90-95 percentile in JEE Mains.
Counseling
: Both MAIT and MSIT take part in Delhi University counseling, and admission is based on the rank and availability of seats.
Reservation
: If you're from a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), you may get an advantage in the cutoffs.
2. BVP (Pune):
BVP CET
: While BVP conducts its own entrance exam, students with a good JEE Mains percentile often get a direct entry, especially for courses like CSE, ECE, and Mechanical Engineering.
Cutoff
: For popular branches, cutoffs range between 90-95 percentile in JEE Mains, but you'll need to clear the BVP CET for final admission.
Reservation : The university also provides reservations, which could help you if you're from a reserved category.
Make sure to check each college’s official website or counseling portal for the most accurate and updated information. Also, keep an eye on the cutoffs for the specific branches you’re interested in.

Choosing between BCA from VIPS Delhi, IITM Janakpuri, or MSIT depends on several factors:
1. VIPS Delhi:
- Reputation: Well-regarded for its BCA program, with good infrastructure and faculty.
- Fees: Approximately :2.16 LPA.
- Placement: Average placement record with companies like Deloitte and Infosys, average packages around 4 LPA.
2. IITM Janakpuri
- Reputation: Known for quality education and better placement opportunities compared to many private colleges.
- FeesGenerally competitive, but check specific details.
- Placement Stronger placement support and higher average packages.
3. MSIT
- Reputation: Also a good option, focusing on technology and management.
- Fees :Typically reasonable.
- Placement: Good placement records, often with tech companies.
Recommendation: If you prioritize placement and overall reputation, consider IITM Janakpuri or MSIT over VIPS. However, VIPS is a solid choice if you prefer its specific offerings and environment. Evaluate based on your career goals and preferences.
