Maharani College of Education, Dharapuram Admission Process

Maharani College of Education Dharapuram is regarded as a teacher training institution affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The institution offers an educational program that trains students for careers as teachers at levels of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.  Admissions to Maharani College of Education are based on merit and usually take into account the marks secured by students in their qualifying examination. 2. Application Form: Candidates must procure and properly complete the application form. This may be online from the college website or in printed mode, on the college campus.

3. Document Submission: Candidates are also required to submit along with the completed application form:

  • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, and Graduation/Post-graduation as applicable)

Admission Process Degree wise 

B. Ed (Bachelor of Education): The duration of the B. Ed course is two years and it is full-time, presently having an intake of 100 seats. However, admission for B. Ed is on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. An entrance examination or any other method may be conducted by the State Government, UT Administration or the University of affiliation for this program. The fee referred to this program is approximately Rs. 75,000.

M.Ed (Master of Education): The M.Ed. program is a one-year post-graduate study whereby the admission intake includes 50 seats. Admission into M.Ed follows the same procedure as for B.Ed in that it is on a pure merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, normally B.Ed. An entrance examination or any other method may be followed as per the policies of the controlling bodies. The fee payable for the M.Ed. program amounts to roughly Rs. 76,000.
