Majuli College, Jorhat Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college currently possesses a two-story Girls’ Hostel which can accommodate 65 girls. Girls desirous of hostel accommodation may opt for the same in their application forms for admission.

The college is located in the neighbourhood of a Community Health Centre. In the event of any emergency, government doctors are consulted immediately. Yet, they have a First-Aid Box at the disposal of a competent teacher

The college provides gym availability with good equipment.

The college Book Bank Facility in the library was opened in 2012. The purpose of the Bank is to help the meritorious, financially poor, and deserving regular students of the college. The library rules may be amended or altered as and when necessary 

The College has a spacious playground measuring an area of three acres of land on the bank of Doria Dubi. Outdoor games are held on the playground during Annual College Sports Week. Some of the outdoor games are also held on the campus ground. The college has a well-equipped volleyball court with the latest ground light. Moreover, various indoor game facilities such as TT, badminton, chess are also available in the college. 

The college has excellent IT infrastructure and accessibility from various parts.

The College has a spacious and hygienic canteen named Byanjana with indoor seating arrangement separately for teachers and students is available on the college campus. It provides a variety of eatables to the students, teachers, and others. On special occasions, it facilitates the arrangement of parties as well. Health hazards are taken care of. 

The college has a well-equipped auditorium known as Keshabram Borah Auditorium having the capacity to accommodate an audience of almost 700. Various cultural functions, seminars, congregations, workshops, etc. are organized regularly in the auditorium.

The college has six laboratories in all. Out of these six, there are four laboratories in Science, one in Arts and one common laboratory for both Arts and Science. They are Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Education and Geography respectively. These laboratories are running in newly constructed buildings in a neat and clean atmosphere. 

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has separate cycle stands on the college campus: two for the students and the other for the teachers and employees. A strict vigil is maintained on these stands so that no incident of theft occurs.

The college has Placement facilities for all students.
