Candidates are selected on the basis of valid CAT score.
The cutoff score of CAT for pgdm program in MDI Murshidabad is 90+. Candidates will be called for further round of selection to the interview centres mentioned in the interview letter.
And the final merit list is drawn on the basis of CAT score, past academic records , GD and PI performance.

MDI Gurgaon is one of the most reputed B-schools in India. The selection criteria for MBA is as follows:

CAT score(minimum 50 percentile), followed by a personal interview and group discussion round. There is also a written ability test before this.

The expected cut off this year ( on the basis of last year's cut off) is around 94.93 percentile. So, with a 95 percentile you have a good chance and definitely are eligible for MDI. Since your academic history is quite good, it makes the chances of selection a bit high.

Cutoff in CAT in MDI Murshidabad was around 70 percentile for previous year and if you get call then you have to perform very well in your Gd and PI. Also your academic performance, profile,work experience etc will matter a lot to get in the merit list. Post Graduate Program In Management Finance, Post Graduate Programme In Marketing, PGP-HR, PGP-OM all the courses have similar cutoff almost.

As far as MDI Gurgaon is concerned, In 2019 for Admissions for Fall of 2020, the Cutoff for PGPM at Gurgaon Campus was 94 Percentile. So you can expect a similar cutoff of around 93-95 percentile this year and probably having secured 98 percentile you have fair chances in making through the first half of the process and securing a call from MDI. Management Development Institute, Gurgaon has started registration for PGDM programme for 2021 batch from September 16 in online mode. The college gives 15% weightage in selection process to academics. Yes, you can mention your physical education marks in best 5 subjects while calculating 12th percentage to fill in the form.

To be very honest your academic profile is very poor and that's makes it difficult for you to grab a seat in MDI or other B schools. But your category may help you get a seat in few good colleges if your CAT score is upto the the mark.

A pretty decent percentile of 80-85 or above may help you fetch some Great B School like Baby and New IIMS. I will suggest you to work hard and score as much as possible. It's always beneficial to score above that is needed.

Congratulations for your mock tests score.

The cut-off for top institutions depends upon your background, if you are an Engineer, you are required to score 99 percentile for top 10 colleges of India for MBA which includes IIM A, IIM B , IIM C etc. And if you are from non engineering background then 97-98 percentile also may works for you (general category).

As your 10th and 12th score is also good, you have great Chance of getting Interview calls from old IIMs and definitely from new IIMs too, also Colleges like IMT Ghaziabad, MDI gurgaon will definitely gives you an interview call if you apply for them with 98 percentile.

As currently you are scoring 96-98 percentile, try more hard and don't panic in exam, you may score more than 99 in actual exam.
