Hello, the top 20 percentile cutoff marks list of different boards for IITs , NITs and other CFTIs are released by JoSaa every year in the month of June. This year JoSaa will probably release the cut off lists for different boards in the 2nd week of June.
Hope this answer gives you the information you required.
Hello Saujanya
As you have mentioned your ranks, it seems you are interested in CSE. With this WBJEE rank you can get various college for CSE. I am listing down various college for CSE which you can get:
Heritage Institute of Technology
HIT - Haldia Institute of Technology
The Neotia University
Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - GNIT
AEC - Asansol Engineering College
Hello Kaushik,
I think you can not get admission in an government college for b arc by josaa because you rank is not so good. You have got 21000 rank in Assam. But you OBC score is 6900 with this you are not well marked. These scores and rank are not enough for you to get seat by josaa in Assam.
Good Luck!
Hello,
Try to contact to the board and ask them for rectification if possible. For this only it is always said to be enough alert while filling the forms. Disadvantage is your application may be rejected if your eligibilty is wrong or they won't forward your application for futher process.
So try to put a mail to the board about the issue and ask about the solutions can be done.
Else you have to change it during your document verification time. They will ask you about the mistake you have done and they will rectify it.
Hope it helps!
Hi
For JoSAA Counselling you have to be very careful while filling in the choices.
Few points I would like to mention which might prove helpful for you. Begins below -
1. Do not fill unnecessary choices or Colleges/Branches which you might not get in any of the seven rounds. Check which you will get by tallying with previous year closing ranks.
2. Firstly see which colleges/branches you can get. And make a list as per your preference.
3. Preference can be done on the basis of the College you want to join or the Branch of study you would like to learn.
4. Preference also includes the location of the college. Because many students avoid going to the extreme north and most of the north east NITs and other GFTIs.
5. Fill only those choices which are favourable to you. Because if you fill in those, like a college you might not to take admission in or a branch you don't want to study. By chance if you fall into that, you have to either take admission there or opt out of the entire JoSAA Counselling Procedure.
6. Also as you have a Home State Quota in the province of Punjab, so if you wish to study in any of the college there, you can enlist them in the top positions of your list, because chances are generally high when you have Quotas.
I hope you can fill your choices appropriately now.
Best of Luck.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
Hey!There
Since you are not in top 20 Percentile then you are not elligible for NITs,CFTIs or IIITs.Also your rank is too low for goverment engineering college. You should look for others engineering entrance examination.
Ask if you have any other query.
GOOD LUCK!
Hey!Chiku
Your rank seems not enough for goverment engineering college. For NITs,GFTIs, or IIITs rank should be under 40k in general category. But your rank is too low for such Colleges. You shouldn't expect something big from this rank.
Ask if you have any query.
GOOD LUCK!
Greetings to you,
As per your rank in JEE Mains 2019 and in consideration of your category, it is unlikely for you to get a seat into any of NITs, IIITs or GFTIs of the nation. I would like to suggest you to try for private institutions that accept JEE Mains score/rank or those who conduct their own separate admission tests. Feel free to comment for any other queries. Good luck.
