Musaliar College of Engineering is an affiliated college in Chirayinkeezh, Kerala and was founded in 2011 in Thiruvananthapuram. AICTE recognised engineering institute is located on twelve acres of campus and provides a number of engineering courses. Currently, the college offers a total of 385 students and faculty members tallying 72 making it a point of focus college. The institute is currently delivers 9 programme in different courses of study and at two levels of degrees with focuses different fields of engineering like Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, etc.

Musaliar College of Engineering provides and displays an organised and wide range of amenities for students’ learning and personal growth. The library is one of the primary sources of learning and disseminates a copious volume of books on engineering and technology and a reading hall that has a sitting capacity of 200 students. It is completely computerised for better management of books and provides many services like reference section, and even open book bank. In the domain of physical fitness the college has a good gym facility containing strength machines and frees weights and sports facilities like vollyball, basketball and tennis grounds. The inventory is also remarkable and include air conditioned computer labs with high powered processors. The college also provides Boys & Girls separate hostels to facilitate accommodation for the out-station students.

Musaliar College of Engineering currently has eight courses in its portfolio – 5 undergraduate programmes and 3 diploma courses. They offer specialised B.Tech programme and it is a full time course that extends up to four years for students: Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Biomedical Engineering Food Technology etc. The college has also started three years diploma courses in those specialisation areas which are in growing demand like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Civil & Rural Engineering, and Integrated Circuits & Systems Design & Manufacturing. The course capacity for all the courses collectively is 385 students and per course varies from 30 to 60 curved seats.
