Our library has a reading hall which has a seating capacity of approximately 200 students. The library is fully automated and deals with the issues, returns, and database of books through software. Three books are issued to a student for a time period of 15 days. For staff, it can be extended up to five days. The library mainly comprises an issue section, a reference section, a journals section, an open book bank section that explicitly covers the area where students can freely subscribe at the time of their admissions, followed by every month books that can be taken every month concerning the respective semesters. Our library brings the best and updated engineering and scientific resources for the students to prepare for the examination, or the information students seek for course completion projects, dissertations, and assignments. Our library ensures that the essential books to catch up with the syllabus are available throughout all semesters. There is a transportation committee comprising members observing transport facilities for students to maintain discipline and anti-ragging in buses. The committee discusses problems regarding transport facilities and takes steps if necessary. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited inside the college bus. The following are the guidelines to be taken care of by the bus users: Students always remember to carry their ID cards and board the buses only in the respective stage allotted to them. Our college buses cover in and around Trivandrum district. This is a non-profit initiative to provide cost-effective shopping for classroom accessories for students. A photocopy facility is also available here on a payment basis at moderate rates. All transactions of the store by way of sale shall be on the ready money system.
