Nabajyoti College, Kalgachia Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Library has about 23000+ print documents which consist of Books, Journals, Dissertations, etc. The College Library is a member of the online database called N list under INFLIBNET Centre. Under N List we can access more than 97000+ e-books and 6000+ e-journals. There are different sections within the Library like the Reading Room corner, Textbook corner, Periodical corner, and Reference corner. It provides very strong support in terms of Library and Information Services to its user fraternity within the Campus. Besides, a plan has been initiated to provide innovative services like Digital Reference Services and electronic Document Delivery Services beyond the four walls of the Library. The Library is open to the Students, Faculty, and Staff of the college fraternity.

The College has a Boys Hostel facilities. There are separate buildings for boys run by two separate management Committees. There are 100 seats for boys. Students shall have to application for Hostel in the prescribed form.

The College has a Girls' Hostel facility. There are separate buildings for girls run by two management Committees. There are 40 for girls and 25 for women. They shall have to apply for a Hostel in a prescribed form.

The College has a Conference Hall and Auditorium of the College is well equipped with modern facilities for conducting Open Sessions of different functions, Popular Talks, Seminars, Discussions, debates, etc.

The College has a Guest House in College. Parents/Guardians of the student can stay in the Guest House while visiting their dependants. Moreover, any visiting government officials or distinguished Professors of Universities/Colleges who come to the College on duty or tour and desire to stay in the Guest House shall be accommodated. Also, there is a rest house for the Alumni of the College.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The College also provides a Parking Facility for the safe keeping of bicycles/bikes, and one big Shed has been provided for students. Bikes/Cars of the teachers, employees, and visitors may be parked conveniently in the Car Parking area.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College Canteen is a perfect place for refreshments after a hectic Class Schedule. Students can chat among themselves, ease and revitalize for the subsequent Sessions. Apart from that, the Canteen is also a place where they can exchange information and share ideas.

The college also provides workshop facilities for all the students.
