National College of Education, Keelakollai, is a well-known institution with Annamalai University, Cuddalore, accreditation. The college is renowned for teacher education courses and has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
The National College of Education, Keelakollai has the policy of admitting deserving candidates to its educational courses. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed: National College of Education, Keelakollai has Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course with approved strength of 100 seats. Admission to the B.Ed course will be based on merit taking into account the marks secured in the qualifying exam and/or entrance examination. The college may also employ other selection methods as per state government decisions, UT administration decisions, and the university. The existing graduates are eligible to apply for this course.
M.Ed: The college provides 50 seats for the Master of Education (M.Ed) program. Admission for M.Ed is also merit-based, considering the marks in the qualifying examination (preferably B.Ed) and an entrance test. The selection is according to the rules and regulations laid down by the State Government, Central Government, University, or UT Administration. Applicants possessing a B.Ed degree or equivalent degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply for admission in this course.
