Nilasaila Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) is a college located in Sergarh, Balasore, Odisha. This institution has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and managing, NIST conducts five full-time diploma programs, each for a period of three years.  According to generally applicable eligibility for admission to diploma programs in NIST, candidates should have passed the 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized board. Admission Process Degree wise

Diploma Programs: NIST offers a total of five diploma programs, with a capacity of 60 students for each of them:

1. Diploma in Automobile Engineering: Chariot grant is a program centered on automotive technology and the theoretical design of vehicles. Admission becomes merit-based but depends on seat availability.
2. Diploma in Civil Engineering: Construction occurs here, as well as all about structure and Infra development. Admission also includes considerations according to the academic performance in subjects related to that.
3. Diploma in Electrical Engineering: This course will deal with electrical systems and also how power generation and distribution occurs. Based upon their respective aptitude for the electrical sciences, candidates will get selected.
4. Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: This can be stated as a unique combination of electrical engineering and electronics, and admission into this course is tightly competitive on the academic basis of the applicant.
5.
