For honors in science streams, candidates must have eligibility criteria of 55% aggregate or 50% aggregate with 60% marks in the subject concerned.

BA Programs: At the North Bengal St. Xavier's College admission for BA programs concerning subjects like Political Science, Education, Psychology, History, Geography, Sociology, and English happens. Admission is on a merit basis with specific criteria for honors courses.
