Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and hospital, Baripada, for that matter, is the relatively newer repository of medical education in Odisha, India. The college maintains a high degree of selectivity in admitting students by national standards laid down by the National Medical Commission (NMC). National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is the main entry point for MBBS students in Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital. This all-India standardized test is intended to secure medical education to those students who have the best potential to pursue it. MBBS: The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course is the flagship program of Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital. Admission to the MBBS course is solely based on merit obtained in NEET-UG examination. The institution is adding an additional 125 seats each academic year to provide more opportunities for medical education in the area.
