Periyar Maniammai Free Clinic has been providing healthcare since 1987 to inmates of the Periyar Centenary Educational Complex. Now, it serves the poor and needy in the surrounding area, covering a population of over 10,000 across 10 villages. IMPRESS Nursing Training is also conducted here in collaboration with the city corporation and 10 private hospitals.
