Infrastructure is ok but needs a little maintenance , no hostel facility but canteen is a place where you can spend your whole college day with a good food at very much reasonable price . Our library have around 80,000 books consisting of journals , magazines , novels and books from all the fields.
I am currently studying commerce (Bcom) and I must say quality of a teaching is very nice . Most people says that at college level you have to study on your own , no one teaches etc but in my 2 years the faculty I got was awesome very dedicated towards teaching and highly experienced which can give you a good level of knowledge in a certain subjects on a condition that you too have to put your efforts.
Our placement society is in the top 5 among all placement cells of Delhi University so one can think of the placements , internships and guidance given by placement cell . Internships are provided to students throughout the year and some big companies like Wipro , ICICI Prudential visits our campus for recruitment.
My course fee in 1st year was Rs.12645 (one time payment including examination fee as well ) and in 2nd year it was Rs.12445 and I believe I could be getting my money's worth if this pandemic didn't come in the middle of my college life .
Infrastructure is good. Newly constructed building. Seminar hall is also good. We have the biggest canteen of Delhi University. The play ground is not that big but I think it's sufficient. We got one of the best cricket teams among DU. Library has almost every book you can ask for.
Teachers are excellent and supportive too. They help not only in academics but in every field you ask for. Like I was confused to opt for optional subject but got a consultation with my teacher and she cleared the doubts.
The Placement cell of PGDAV College is one of the emerging cell among DU colleges. During lockdown we got 170+ companies on our portfolio. Average package was 4.2 lacs. The college staff was very supportive and also prepare students for their interviews.
I'm currently pursuing B.com. It's annual fee is 12700 per year. Yes , I think is value for money as the value you get in such cost is too good. Delhi University is a brand in its own
I think the crowd we got is kind of mixed. One will find the group according to their own taste. There are different societies like COMMERCIUM, NSS , KAIZEN etc.
At first I was a bit disappointed. But it just carried away with time. I'm in Commercium society, it helps to develop your inner self so much . At last, It's not a bad College to enroll in. You will get the Delhi University vibes and status too.
Our college has all the necessary facilities like smart boards, wifi, labs, libraries etc. Everything is well maintained. Food and canteen are hygienic. But washrooms are not clean. It would be good to have clean washrooms.
I'm doing b.com hons and all the teachers throughout my three years of studying were really amazing and helpful. They teache us all the latest content and encourages us to participate and interact which is really good for developing interpersonal and communication skills.
Our college's placement cell is really nice. All its members are really supportive. Many students got placed in various companies. Even I applied for various internships. Every year an internship fair is also organized by the college.
My course cost me rs 13,000 approx per year and it was worth it.
Our college campus is really good. The living space, canteens, gardens are all good. There are many activities a student can participate in through the various college societies. The staff is good too.
Our campus has a very good infrastructure . Whole college is visible from the new building and our college has a very big ground where students used to chill in winter and has a basketball court and our college if full of greenery .
I m pursuing BCom prog and the facilities of Pgdav college are extremely good and the curriculum is up to dates as according to Delhi University . The teachers are very helpful and always ready to guide you on your path and the teachers are very adaptable to the changing environment.
The placements offered by our college is too good , every year placement an internship fair is conducted where many companies come and offer opportunities to students which help them grow n learn . The salary offered usually is average but the selection procedure is quite good .
Obviously being a delhi university college under Central government with such equipped facilities it is totally worth of money.
Campus Life has been great especially when you join different socities where you keep indulged yourself in learning new things and you make friends . Location is the best part as it has walking distance from the vinobhapuri metro station and the teachers n staffs are really helpful.
College is all about learning and enjoying
My College Has A Great Infrastructure With A Large Play Ground 2 Seminar Halls And The Best Thing About My College Is Canteen That Ie Huge And Variety Of Foods And Also Big Library With Thousands Of Books College Staff College Is Hyegenic Separate GCR And BCR
I'm Studying Ba Programme Because I've only This Option To Choose Teacher Are Very Helpfull And They Support In Everything I Also Do Extra Curriculum Activities Like Drama And Dance They Are Helping Me A Lot
My College Placement Cell Is Too Awesome In Every Year Many Companies Come And Give Opportunities To Make Student Grow In Their Field The Average Salary Is Offered 4.00PA And This Is Good So My College Are Very Supportive And Helpfull Too!
My Course Fees Is 14000 Per Semester So This Is Not Huge It's Less Than Other Colleges I Feel I Will Take Easily Job Because Every Lecture I Take Never Miss Any Test And Always Focus On Studies So I'm Happy To Say This That I'm Studying In Good College
So Campus Life Are Too Amazing The Best Part Of It Fest Of My College That Named By Aghaz Student Can Engage In Every Where They Find Fun So There's no single answer students Are Students Teachers Are Like Gurus Whom Teach Not Only Syllabus But Also Teach About Life Staff Also Supportive Location Is safe And Yes They Can Handle It
My Overall experience till now is pretty amazing, college has a huge library with thousands of books. College canteen is very famous in Delhi University circuit. Teachers are also very friendly and helpful.
It has an average infrastructure. Neither too bad nor too good. Classrooms are okayish. Though, you may often find dog(s) resting in your classroom, if it is on the ground floor. We have a good library, and one can issue books related to their course study easily from therein. But you would be disappointed if you are looking for more — novels or literature stuff, etc. The sports centre is very good and usually well maintained. The living spaces are usually clean and our canteen also hygienic.
I am studying B.Com. The quality of teaching is very good, I would say. Most teachers are really helpful and they know how to do their jobs. They will help and guide you on your path. But, you may also have to deal with the teachers who aren't interested in teaching or doing their jobs. It's good to see that they are trying to catch up with the changing environment in their respective fields, and are updating the curriculum accordingly.
The quality of placement is not so good here. It's average only and you have to be really good and on your toes, if you are aiming for a placement. The salary offered is usually very average. The placement procedure is good and the college is supportive enough.
It's DU and it's owned and controlled totally by the government. So, the cost per course is not much, and easily affordable for everyone. Yes, the least you will get is your money's worth. Comparing to private colleges where you pay lakhs per year for a course, here, the maximum cost per fees you would have to pay per year would not be more than 20000 and that's the maximum amount you would have to pay.
Campus life is good and if you can make good friends, it gets better. Students can engage in sports activities or join different societies according to their interests. The crowd here is mostly local and the teachers are really helpful. Location is probably one of the best things about this college. It is located directly in front of the vinoba puri metro station. So, it makes travelling very easy and convenient.
This is an average college. But if you succeed in making good friends, friends that will help you grow. Make connections and join societies and explore as much as you can.
PGDAV College has biggest canteen in the Delhi University. One could get every facilities he/she wish for like Xerox machines etc. The food offered in canteen is also hygienic and good . The only thing is that the campus is very small.
Delhi University is one of the India's biggest University. And PGDAV is one of the renowned college of Delhi University. The teachers are very supporting , understanding and we love the way how they teaches us.
Placement rate is quite good with the average package of 3+4 LPA. We have placement cell which is quite active and it helps us in getting internships , campus placements, etc. Every year the highest package varies from different field.
It's more than the value of money.
It's all about you have to find the right people. By saying right people I mean the friends
Yaa one could take admission
Yes PGDAV canteen is the biggest canteen across Delhi University and it's hygienic too and it have a big ground where students can sit in winters and chill and classes are spacious too and yes we have library that is well equipped with books and computer labs too .
I am pursuing BCom prog and the faculties are actually very experienced professionals in their field. Yes the curriculum is up to date and during pandemic too we are given online classes and tutorial classes are also conducted for subjects where our doubts are solved .
Pgdav College is know for its placement cell . Every year a internship drive is organised and students from various colleges apply and get placed . PGDAV recently launched its biggest virtual internship fair .
Yes because we have a good faculty of teachers and which is most important of all.
Personally my first year was great , out college organised annual fest where they invited zeaden we attended that it's was soo fun and we get soo much of exposure by joining societies . I m a part of 3 societies now in my second year and great . Students , teachers and staffs are very supportive . Our college is walking distance from vinobhapuri puri metro station and yes it can handle emergencies.
Overall it's great to be a student In Pgdav college , various events are conducted throughout the year by various departmental as well as by cultural socities and which is great source of exposure for students and various social drives are too conducted by NSS unit of our college such as cloth donation drive , blood donation drive etc.
Yes Our College is equipped with all the necessary facilities like canteen, wifi, GYM, and with many more facilities. And in canteen our college has biggest canteen among the other DU Colleges. and we get meals and snacks at cheap Rate.
In Academics our college is one of the best college of Delhi University Because here faculties are very helpful and their way of teaching is absolutely good. Personally I have never faced any problem till now related to academic.
Average placement is around 3-5 lakhs I got to know about this from seniors. College also provides internship to the intersted student's and before student go to take part in placement our professors guide us throughout the whole process.
For B. Com it's costs around 15000 P. A. and it's value for money and I am sure one cannot get this kind of education under this price in other private colleges.
Staff and teachers are very supportive and I can say that overall staff's are very helpful.
Our college provide wonderful facilities for students Hygienic canteen ,clean bathrooms, a very beautiful playground , experienced teachers . Clean classroom calm environment helping seniors which creates a beautiful college life
Studying BA programme i will be appying for government jobs after this we have very amazing. Teachers at our college .our teachers are very helpfull . They clear all our doubts and help us achieve aur goals in academic

Dear Yaswanth,
Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College is a constituent college of University of Delhi ( PGDAV College). It has various facilities like d igital library, e xcellent cultural societies, go od infrastructure, top notch placement record etc.
B.A hons. Political Science will majorly focus on Political Science subject whereas only studying B.A political Science, you will study all the subjects in equal proportions. The college also works to enhances your skills. I would say Choose your area of interest. Scope wise both (hons. And non hons.) are quite competitive.
Talking about UPSC, it covers all the aspects of every subject you are opting for. Considering this, B.A Political Science would be a better course to choose for as it will cover all your subjects equally rather than just focussing on Political Science.
Rest is your decision. Please choose wisely.
Hope this sorted your query.
All the Best!!
Hi Virat
PGDAV is a good college but placements here are not good. It's accreditation is NAAC B. The faculty here is well qualified. The ranking of college depends upon various factors. However as per previous nirf rankings, this college was not under the list.
But no doubt it is one of the oldest constituent colleges of the top ranking University of Delhi.
