Pragati Engineering College offers a wide range of facilities to its students and faculty. The library has a 300-seat capacity and is well-stocked. Each department at Pragati Engineering College has its own laboratory where students can learn in a hands-on environment. Pragati Engineering College facilities include a seminar hall, an auditorium, indoor and outdoor sports and games, etc.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls, each with basic amenities such as air conditioning, a common reading area, spacious dining hall, filtered drinking water, and medical help with an ambulance available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A computer centre with a significant number of computers and internet access is available. PEC Surampalem also provides transportation for students and staff.

Boys Hostel
Pragati Engineering College has a boys hostel on the campus. Double and triple sharing rooms are available. The food served at the hostel is clean, nutritional, and tasty. For students, hostels offer all of the basic amenities, as well as indoor sports facilities, laundry services, and other amenities.
Girls Hostel

Sports
The college includes a large playground and facilities for both outdoor and indoor games. Basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, throwball, and games like chess, table tennis, and carroms are among the outdoor activities.
I.T Infrastructure
Every department of Pragati has its own set of laboratories with state-of-the art building and most modern equipment relevant to that department. Apart from regular academic curriculum, students are taught topics beyond curriculum. The air conditioned Computer Laboratories at Pragati have more than 700 hi-end systems.
Cafeteria
The college has a canteen. It serves delicious and hygienic food to students and faculty members.
Auditorium
The college features a large auditorium. It can be used to run a variety of events and activities, such as seminars, workshops, invited speeches, and special lectures.

Pragati Engineering College provides transportation service to the students and staff of the college.

College Infrastructure

Wi-Fi was good almost everywhere on the campus. The labs were good with new equipment. Coming to the hostel, the food was average but compared to home, it was not up to the level. We have a dispensary in the college itself and an available nurse and we have a mineral water supply around the campus and a small solar plant in the main block.

College Infrastructure

Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and common areas available. The mess serves a variety of nutritious meals, although the options could be more diverse. The canteen offers snacks and beverages at reasonable prices. Medical facilities on-campus ensure prompt care, and there are good sports amenities encouraging a balanced lifestyle with various games and activities available for the students.

My college has good infrastructure. Collage campus is big and has many bus for transportation. My college has all facilities for students. Laboratories is well maintained and has all equipments.Hostel is well maintained and room is for triple occupancy.

With your 69,251 rank in AP EAMCET and being from the BC-B category and a girl, getting a seat in CSE at Pragati Engineering College, Surampalem might be difficult. Usually, the closing rank for CSE in this college is much lower than your rank. But don’t feel bad—there’s still a good chance for you to get other branches like Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering in the same college.

You should definitely try in the counselling because sometimes seats become available in the later rounds. Also, since you have both BC-B reservation and girl quota, your chances in some branches may improve.
