36 MonthsDiploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, Kolkata, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- Admission criteria for JEXPO Candidates
- Must have passed the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Mathematics, and Physical Science / Science / Science & Technology among others as subjects securing at least 35% marks (no rounding up) in aggregate as per AICTE norms excluding the effects of the subject taken as additional/optional. Candidates appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in 2021 with English, Mathematics, and Physical Science/Science among others subjects may also apply.
Admission criteria for DIRECT Admissions
Must have passed/appeared in the (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Vocational Education Division) [erstwhile, West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training]. OR
Passed 2 years’ ITI at a stretch after Madhyamik or equivalent examination passed. It appears ITI candidates are not eligible for VOCLET-2021. ITI trades must be of continuous 2 years duration and the single certificate should mention the time of the ITI course.
