Program-wise Admission Process

B.A.: The Bachelor of Arts program at Ram Yash Postgraduate College provides many subjects in humanities and social sciences. Admission to the B.A. program is done on a merit basis taking into account the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination of 10+2.

B.Sc.: The college offers B.Sc. programs in various disciplines of science, including specialized B.Sc. in Computer Science. The admissions are purely on the merit, wherein the performance of the candidate in the relevant science subjects of 10+2 examination is considered.

B.Com.: For the Bachelor of Commerce program, candidates are selected based on their relevant performance in the qualifying examination of commerce and other related subjects.

BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications program admits candidates based on their merit in the 10+2 examination, giving preference to those with a background in Mathematics/Computer Science.

M.A.: There are postgraduate programs in Hindi, Education, Political Science, Sociology, and Ancient History. Generally, admission is based on merit obtained by candidates at the undergraduate level in the relevant or allied subject.

M.Sc.: The college provides M.Sc. in Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, and Mathematics. Selection of candidates in all of these is based on their merit performance in the respective bachelor's degree course.

M.Com.: Selection for the Master of Commerce program will also be on the basis of merit. This will be determined by consideration for the applicant's performance in either B.Com or an equivalent qualification.

B.Ed.: B.Ed. is offered as a special degree and has a separate admission process. As noted above, "Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university." 

D.Pharma: The Diploma in Pharmacy course offers admission based on the examination in the relevant stream of study.
