Rayat Bahra College of Nursing, Mohali Admission Process

Rayat Bahra College of Nursing, Mohali, located in Punjab, India. Procedure for Admission based on Degree

B.Sc Nursing: The duration of study is 4 years and intake capacity is 50 students for this program. Candidates are admitted based on academic performance at 10+2 with Science (PCB) and apart from that the college may also consider marks obtained in relevant nursing entrance examinations.
Eligibility: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with the minimum aggregate score as laid down by the College.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This is a 2-year program with an intake capacity of 40 students. It is for registered nurses who want to upgrade their qualifications. Candidates must have completed an approved Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or similar. A valid nursing registration certificate is also required for admission.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): The GNM course is a 3-year-long course and has 40 seats. Admission is directed by the scores of the candidate at their 10+2 level, with some consideration of those with Science subjects. The minimum age for admission is usually about 17 years, and the candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
