General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  1.  Age: The age of the candidate shall be between 17 years to 35 years.
  2. Minimum Qualification: Minimum Qualification shall be 12 years of schooling (10+2) or its equivalent with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Preference shall be given to those having passed 10+2 or its equivalent to science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Math.
  3. Medical: The candidate should be medically fit.
  4. Gender: Only female candidates can apply.

Admission Details

The candidate will be invited for an interview on a merit basis on the marks obtained by them in the 10+2 Examination. Appearing for an interview is compulsory.
