Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate College, Meerut, stands as a diverse institution for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The college is located in Sarurpur Khurd, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The procedure for admissions at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate College aims to bring in genuinely deserving candidates to their various programs of study. Six courses are available for admission under the graduate and postgraduate labels. These are: BA, B.Sc., B.Com. Self-Finance, M.Sc. Botany, M.Sc. Chemistry Self-Finance, and BA Self-Finance. The process of admission usually starts before the commencement of the academic session, generally in the months of July or August.
The eligibility criteria for a bachelor's program will be satisfied by those who have done their 10+2 schooling from a board. The college gives consideration to marks recorded in the qualifying examination (12th standard) for admission in various undergraduate courses. For the postgraduate programs, candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university are admitted for M.Sc Botany and M.Sc Chemistry.

Degree wise Admission Process
BA and BA (Self-Finance): Bachelor of Arts courses in various subjects are offered at the college. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the respective subjects in the 12th standard examination. Assuming that the college has a cut-off percentage that differs depending on the subject depending on the number of applications received, plus the availability of seats.
B.Sc.: For admission to the B.Sc. program, candidates must have passed their 12th standard with science subjects. In general, the selection will be on the basis of marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination.
B.Com.(Self-Finance): Among the courses offered at the college, B.Com. Self Finance is the most desirable one, with an intake of only 60 seats. Admission is tough on the basis of 12th standard marks in commerce and mathematics.
M.Sc Botany entrance will consider a bachelor's degree in Botany or related fields. Selection may be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as well as an entrance test or an interview.
M.Sc Chem. (Self-Finance): Admission for M.Sc Chemistry is on the basis of merit considering the marks obtained in the undergraduate programme; it is essential that the candidate has obtained a bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
I done ba from this college because it is near my home the quality of teaching is good the studies made me ready for job and the college have all the necessary teaching but one think I would say that teaching level was good
