Satpuda Education Society, Arts and Commerce College, Buldana Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Satpuda Education Society Arts and Commerce College was set up at Buldana. There are a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by this institution under the disciplines of Arts, Commerce, and Sciences. Admission to this college is straightforward and hassle-free. Being a college affiliated to the parent university, the institution complies with all its rules and regulations for admission process.

The admission cycle mostly aligns with the academic calendar of Maharashtra state universities. While the dates keep changing every year, admissions typically take place within the months of the declaration of the 12th standard results. Usually, it happens in June-July. 

For UG programs, such as BA, B. Com, B. Sc, the minimum qualification needed is the pass of 10+2 from a recognized board. Candidates who have passed their respective UG degree are considered for PG programs, such as MA, M. Com, M. Sc. The college strictly follows merit while admitting students to the institution. 4. Submission of Documents: The following documents must accompany the application form:

• Qualifications with marksheets (10th, 12th, graduation as applicable)
• Transfer Certificate from previous institution
• Character Certificate
• Caste Certificate if applicable
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Any other documents specified by the college or program

5. Application Submission: The student must submit all his documents to the college's admission office along with his application form in time before the stated deadline.

6. Application fee: Pay whichever application fee, as decided by the college. They will clearly depict how to submit the application fees in cash, via demand draft or through online transfer.

7. Process of Verification The college admission committee will verify every document and other details mentioned by the applicant through the application form.

8. Merit List: The college will prepare the merit lists of each program for admission according to eligibility criteria and available seats in the program.

9. Counselling and Seat Allocation- the one who has been chosen will be taken for counselling and in accordance to her / his choice/merit she would get allotted seats there.

10. Fee Payment - selectee is also offered certain time period for submission of fee for the course that is being offered so as to complete the counseling.

Degree wise Admission Process

The B.A. course under Satpuda Education Society Arts and Commerce College offers a wide range of study through various humanities subjects. Since the admission to this course is for 220 seats, students get selected based on the marks they secure in the 12th standard examination, keeping in mind the specific subjects according to the specialization chosen.

B.Com: The B.Com program has an intake of 120 seats. Candidates who have passed 12th standard with Commerce or equivalent are eligible to apply. The admission process considers the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, particularly in commerce-related subjects.

B.Sc: The college offers 120 seats for the Bachelor of Science course. Students must have passed the 12th standard with a Science stream in PCM/PCB. Admission is strictly on a merit basis. The marks obtained in the qualifying examination are taken into consideration, giving more importance to science subjects.

M.Com: Seats: 40 The candidates are awarded a B.Com degree from a recognized Institute or University  qualify to apply for these seats. These admissions might sometimes be on account of graduation marks merit, but if so, supported by entrance examination/test/interview.

M.Sc: Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology are the courses that are offered by the college, with an intake of 20 seats in each course. The same is open for candidates who have a B.Sc degree with relevant subjects. Selection might be done through graduation marks along with a departmental entrance test/interview.

MA: Economics and Political Science are offered with an intake of 40 students in each of the departments. Eligibility is a relevant bachelor's degree. The usual criteria for selection are graduation marks and other such criteria as the departments may determine.

Ph.D: The college provides doctoral programs in Marathi (8 seats) and Economics (4 seats). Admissions to these courses would most likely be more selective, and possibly include entrance tests, interviews, and evaluation of the research proposal.
