After fee payment, no changes can be made. However sometimes, the University opens its website for correction window.
In my opinion, UPES Dehradun is the right choice. The curriculum, campus, teachers and the placements, everything that the college offers is great. University is also known for their student exchange programs that help students get global exposure. In addition, they also conduct PEP classes to groom your personality and make you industry-ready.
And no there is no disadvantage that UPES is a petroleum university. My friend studied there and told me a lot about the university. He is now working in an MNC at a great pay scale. In case you are still in doubt, I will suggest that visit the college campus itself, talk to people there and then make a decision.
