This field includes systematic design development and operations of process systems for the extraction, transformation, and recovery of economically useful materials. The program strives to develop industry-centric personnel with a specialization in petrochemicals, petroleum refining, and other significant streams. B. Tech Chemical Engineering with Specialization in Refining and Petrochemicals is a Full-time 4-years course and it is Offered by B.Tech Chemical Engineering with Specialization in Refining and Petrochemicals.

It helps you understand and apply the best global practices in the fields of natural gas processing, gas transportation, and gas utilization techniques.
Learn about specific upstream activities that encompass exploration, reservoir, and production.

Scholarship-

1. Merit-Based Scholarship

The scholarship will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 80% marks in class X & XII & 80% marks in PCM for B.Tech (All Streams) in CBSE/ ICSE / State Examination Board. Such scholarships will be limited to 10% of seats in each B.Tech Program. Scholarships will be allotted for the first Semester in Merit order to eligible candidates.
Scholarships will be awarded based on merit only.
Continuation of Scholarship in the subsequent years will be as per the University policy

2. Scholarship for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers:

Merit order allotment of 1 seat per program.
The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand resident students.
Should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate)
Students will be entitled only for 1 scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Toppers or through Uttarakhand Resident category)
Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per merit scholarship policy of the University

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 50% marks in Classes X and XII. with 50% in PCM (Physics/Chemistry and Mathematics) in Class XII

Admission Details

UPESEAT/JEE Mains/SAT/CUET-UG & Board Merit

Minimum 50% marks at Higher& Senior Secondary level (10th&12th) and minimum 50% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) at Senior Secondary level (12th class).

JEE Main cut-off Rank for - 50 percentiles and above

SAT Cut off - 50 percentiles and above

CUET - UG Cut off - 60 percentiles and above

Minimum 80% Marks at Higher & Senior Secondary Level and Minimum 80% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) at Senior Secondary Level

# Upto 20% of seats shall be filled through the non-exam category (10% through JEE Mains and 10% through Board Merit). In case seats are vacant in this category; UPES has the right to fill these through the UPES Examination. The university also reserves the right to conduct further CBT / Pen Paper / Online tests for admission.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure quite nice. College have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments as well. We have all the necessary facilities in a classroom labs library sports centres and hostels like Wi-Fi and smart boards and yes they are well maintained as well.

College Infrastructure

My college has a proper infrastructure with well-equipped labs which are domain-specific. The campus is located in the foothills of the Himalayas and has a splendid view. It has a proper facility for clean water and hygienic food.

College Infrastructure

Yes my college has all the necessary facilities and living spaces are very clean and hygienic. Library has a seprate discussion room and also individual spaces for feel line alone studies . Laboratories too are well equipped.
