Both the universities have a good course structure and a brand name. However, as you are interested in litigation, I would suggest that you opt for Amity law. Pursuing a law degree from UPES is good for those who are interested in joining a firm and more importantly since UPES primarily deals in energy studies so it would be a good choice if you want to work as a lawyer in energy companies.

You should have specified appropriately which stream or which degree course you want to pursue in either of these colleges.

However,Both of these universities are best in there region,if you are from south India then you should go for Amrita University and if you are from North go for UPES

Hello.

First of all check the website www.upes.ac.in for minimum marks eligibility criteria. There are clearly mentioned in Admission Criteria. But as per my knowledge minimum 60% aggregate in PCM at XII.

But if you have some low marks than eligibility criteria then you can go personally to their enrolment offices in Delhi or UP office . May be if possible seats are vacant in other programs then you can get admission in 50% marks also.
