The specialized courses to be offered in a particular academic year shall be identified by the Department Council of the school/center where the course is offered well in advance and intimated to the University authorities for the purpose of notification. LL.M. admission notification shall specify the areas of specialization intended to be offered in the current academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

Pass Bachelor's Degree in Law with 55% markis from any University of Kerala or an examination of anyother University accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto.

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates are eligible for consession admisible under the orders of the Government.

Reservation of seats to foreign candidates will be as per the decision of the University.Provided that in the case of foreign students,especially from SAARC and other developing countries,the minimum requirement for percentage of marks for the qualifying degree examination can be 50%/second class as per their eligible degree requirement instead of 55%.

College Infrastructure

School of legal studies,Cochin University of science and technology which is situated in kochin have Library is the only good facility available there. The infrastructure of the college and campus is very poor. So is that of the university hostel. Both lack basic cleanliness and there is no renovation that happens there. Students who can afford private hostels seldom stay in the university hostel.
