In-depth curriculum focused on subjects like English, Psychology, Economics, Political Science, and more.
Infrastructure of the college depends on the study center. Luckily my study center is good. It has well maintained buildings, also average sized classrooms. Some labs have projectors rest don't have. Wifi is not there in the campus.
Classes are scheduled on Saturday Sunday but sometimes they get cancel due to unknown reason. Teachers are not helpful. Only few have good knowledge of subject and can clear your doubts. Teachers need to improve their teaching style. Curriculum is almost same as IGNOU.
Do not hope any placement from du sol. It rarely provide any internship or placement opportunities. Their website also crashes manytimes so you can't take help from college. Few recruiters come but they hire you for around 2.4- 3 lpa.
Old college and infrastructure also not at all good. They don't have any facilities in the college( wifi, smart board and projector). The maintenance of the college is not good. Class rooms are having only white board
I completed b. com hons in this college and the quality of teaching is good but students who are sit in the front benches they can only able to listen teachers voice and college is offering distance education also
As I know college doesn't offer any campus placements for our batch and the quality of the placements also very low. At the time of admission management is tells me that placements is available but no jobs
I paid 30 thousand for 3 years course (b.com hons), and they charge extra fees also like admission fee and other. I feel my money is not wrothy because they don't even provide basic facilities for students
College is having canteen, food quality is not good but all items which are available in canteen are so affordable prices. And the location is not safe at evenings especially for girls and the staff is some what supportive
One good in college is that, they will provide distance education also for students. Every year after admission they will conduct some orientation program in seminar hall for all students( department wise). College is having lots of tress and grass in college (free lectures students can sit and study also). They need to improve class room furniture and college infrastructure also because in my class some students don't have place to sit. College does not have proper dress code for the students.
College infrastructure is great. Wifi is also available. There is greenery and fresh air. Hostel is not available as student visit less frequently. Classrooms are clean and the food is also good to eat. offerdable too. the cricket ground is big and I like playing in it.
Curriculum is easy to understand. I joined in 2021 and I learnt a lot. I'm pursuing Bcom honours and the lessons are nicely planned. There are multiple assignments as well which require out of the box thinking.
The placements are not good. Some of my classmates were placed, it depends upon how a student presents him/herself during interview. But the opportunities are very less. As it as an open school not many company's come for Placemnet.
It's a good college for an open university.
I had fun while gaining knowlege and playing sports.
Good Infrastructure in my college and college location is very safe and it can handle emergencies . Students, teachers and support staff everyone is kind . But there is no huge campus in the college due to lack of space . There's no sports ground.
I am studying in BA English Honours The quality of teaching is really very good The teachers are well skilled and having enough ability and experience. Yes, it depends on the positive contribution of the collaborator It depends on me.
Quality of placement in my campus is really too good as almost all the strength got placed with a good salary package as every salary package offered 6 to 8 LPA and the placement positions really too good our college also supported with the students.
I studied at Ramanujan college which had good infrastructure. It had good classrooms with well maintained washrooms as well as some classrooms had projectors and the library was top notch with A/C, WIFI and mostly all books were available for issuing.
The academic curriculum was not that great when it comes to other private college as we were taught 4-6 subjects in each semester whereas other colleges have more & better academic subjects. The faculty was old and had a lot of experience in teaching.
The college didn't offer SOL students placement opportunities but for regular students placements were decent that ranged from 2lakh to 5 lakh per annum. But mostly the jobs they received included sales.
It was mostly online based college degree where we all had attended our lectures on weekends. The college where i attended my lectures was Sri Aurobindo college and that college had good infrastructure in terms of classroom and hygiene ameties.
Academics is good at SOL college in B.com as all the faculties have good knowledge and experience of their respective field. We learnt all lot of relevant and interesting subjects in accounts and management.
There is no placement cell available in SOL as it is an online based degree with no specific presence because of which a person need to apply on their own. The average salary offered to my classmates were 1-3 LPA.
Since it was an online based college we didn't got to recieve any campus life as such
Students are assigned a college near to their home. I was assigned dyal singh college. Their they have classes on saturday and sunday for both boys and girls, they do have a canteen and a playground to sit and enjoy. They also have library to read books
I am pursuing bcom , the teachers involved in teaching us are very supportive and friendly but i feel they don't have adequate knowledge to teach students like they many times skip topics . Moreover sometimes they don't come. Curriculum is same as it has in Delhi university
To be very honest du sol does not provide any internship opportunities. Ever their website crash a lot of time . They do have a placement cell but it is of no use ,only 5% students are placed , rest have to find jobs on their own
Facilities inside the college is quite good, du sol gave me ram lal ananda college, buildings looks new and library is also available for us, which has many books to read and study. No hostel facilities here, one sports ground for football and volleyball. Canteen food is eatable and affordable too.
I am studying BA program from this college, because i wanted a bachelor degree. we have to go only for two days a week, so academic status is very average in DU sol but teachers are helpful, they give us notes and all the study materials online. Curriculum is also old, but easy to score.
No placements are available in DU SOL. Students have to get jobs by searching on their own. But they sometimes interact with online webinars, after doing this course students get average package of 2-3LPA. If you have achieved good skills then you can get good jobs too.
Infrastructure of SOL is good as you can choose for your nearby college, and the colleges are affiliated to du only. Facilities are quite good like clean classrooms, smart boards, library is also good and huge and sol students can also use it. Canteen provides good quality foods. No hostel facility for students.
I am pursuing BA programme from this college because I want to study for my civil services and this is the best way to get valuable degree. Teachers are really supportive and clear all our doubts. Curriculum of this course is same as the level of regular courses in du.
As last year 20% students got placed in good jobs and internship from our course. The average salary offered was 2-3LPA. But you have to apply by yourself for the jobs. Du organise workshops and online seminars of big companies. Teachers are supportive but you have to be active for internship and jobs.
Yea infrastructure is good in SOL, but not as the regular colleges and it seems okay because like they have all facilities which should be their as SOL,.. We shouldn't except a brilliant infrastructure in sol
Classes are on weekends only so yea academies are not so good of SOL.. It like time is too less and syllabus is high which can't cover on few classes..... You have to learn things from yourself or YouTube only
Placement are not good.. Few companies visit only for placement and even very few student get placed by it.... You should have your network to be placed.... Shortly just Don't expect placement from SOL
It's depend upon what course you are pursuing like I paid max 4500 a year and I think it okay ... It'll only value like you're getting a degree in low amount and further you can do anything else like professional course, job etc
Their is no campus like of sol student.. Because classes are provided only on weekends and most student even don't attend that.. So i can't say anything about that.. Tbh
Hello,
Recently, UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. However, in case you're asking if you can get in both the Universities in regular mode then it is not possible.
Also, there are a lot of universities who are not yet accepting the dual degree policy. They may accept it from a year or so as it was released this year. So you should get in contact with the college to know more about it.
I hope this helps,
All the best
yes , you get admission in B com in any university or college
