Shaheed bhagat singh College is one of the better maintained college in south campus of delhi. Spacious campus with clean and green environment. Maintained classrooms and labs. AC classrooms in some department of the college.libraries are also maintained and proper stocked.
This college provides strong faculty in streams of commerce, economics and arts.Not so good for science stream students. Department varies and teachers are experienced and supportive as it is affiliated to delhi University.Classes are conducted regularly campare to other colleges of delhi University
The college has decent placement records.Many top companies, especially in finance, tech ,consulting visit the campus for placement.some of the companies are Deloitte, wipro, Infosys etc . Average package of the college is 3lakh to 6 lakhs oer annum. Highest package of the college is 10lakhs per annum.
This college offers better fee structure as well as affordable , especially when compared to private institutions . Also provide quality education. Fees structure is about 10k to 15k per year.
The college has active cultural events, like festival celebrations , workshop, and seminars. College offer mix crowd of north indians . Many active societies were also there like debate, drama , dance , and so on .

Yes ,I feel it is one of the good college at this fees structure in compare to other colleges. Fees is approximately 10k to 15k per year.
Compus life of this college is full of joy and enjoyment.Located in the south campus. they host fest, celebrate festivals and other cultural activities.
Very decent college with nice infrastructure and faculty but there are no AC’s, the college have 2 libraries, sports ground, auditorium (both open air and closed) girls common room. There’s no hostel.
The course structure is solid and professors are approachable,(not all of them) but a little more focus on practical learning would have made it even more better. The lectures are good and engaging also.
Placements are good for commerce and business related courses,with good internship support, For other streams, the opportunities exist but may require more proactive effort by the students and college
Considering the course, the exposure, resources and the learning environment the fees is really decent and is worth it. While infrastructure may have some gaps but the overall return is satisfactory.

The academics are honestly pretty good. Most of the teachers are really helpful and friendly. If you have doubts or need extra help, they don’t hesitate to guide you. Classes and Internal assessments exams happen on time, and the marking is fair too. If you stay regular in classes.

It's nice, some of the blocks are under construction, new blocks including buildings like reading hall provides students to study till 12, some of the things like sports complex lacks it. But considering the academics only cllg is nice.
Teachers are understanding highly qualified, academics are quite good in this college. Sec and vac alongwith the core helps in the overall understanding of the discipline and skills and value addition.
Placements were kinda good for the commerce students for the average package of 5-6 lpa, but it's not that good for the other departments . Other than that the placement society works really good in their field.

The college has decent infrastructure, it is now equipped with a lift, library with air conditioning, auditorium, spacious modern classrooms, labs. The campus does not have hostels for accomodation for students coming from outside.
Coming to academics, the college has vast curriculum and now follows nep. The faculties are experienced and supportive in nature. They helps the students with all the resources or study mat for examination.
The college has decent placements opportunities. The placement cell tries to attract top companies in the college for recruitment process. The average package ranges upto 7-8 lpa, where most of the students gets placed from b.com.
Generally the infrastructure is always not up to the mark of these government colleges but our college is procedure is average but in terms it need to be improved and administration should look into it.
The curriculum of the university is purely theoretical but it needs to include some practical aspect to conclude the development of the student when he graduates from the University of Delhi which will also increase the chances of students to be industrial ready.
The placement cell is not active at all but it should organise more and more internship and workshop drives which motivate the student to participate and get hands on experience with the big corporate in the campus.

college infrastructure is very good with large classrooms, proper library, computer labs, and a playing field. The campus is tidy and has basic amenities such as a canteen and an auditorium ,proper washroom facilities. Overall it's good infrastructure

placement cell is very active here helps students to get internships nd many opportunities, particularly for commerce students. Most companies come for placements here which students get by performing good in academics
As a DU college, the fees are quite reasonable, making it an excellent option for quality education at an affordable price.
college is very lively with different societies such as dramatics, dance, music, and debating clubs. Every year Fests and cultural events keep the campus lively. There are so many hangout spots in college nd ground area is good filled with greenery

Shahid Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is great in all the aspects. SBSC is accredited by grade 'A' by NAAC . The college has good infrastructure and great facilities too. It provides you with peaceful and happy environment to study. The faculty here is highly qualified and well experienced. I would suggest you to choose SBSC for bright future and yes it is great for pursuing B.com(bachelor's in commerce) program too. Also the p lacement cell of the college has a remarkable record.

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSD) college is also accredited grade 'A' by NAAC. College has big lush green campus. This college also has a very active placement cell. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in which BCom hons program has its own good records.
Both colleges have its own popularity and are competitive of each other.

There is no entrance exam for the admission in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi, for B.A English honours.
Bachelor of Arts in English is a three-year full-time honors course and offered by the University of Delhi, Delhi.
Admission process
Candidates are required to submit the print out of the admission form downloaded from the University of Delhi Web Portal and the set of college forms, for admission to the first year (Semester I) of three Year CBCS Under Graduate Programme. Admission will be done on the basis of merit by the Admission Committee and the Principal.
Eligibility
A student must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
