Degree-wise Admission Process
B. A.: The Bachelor's Program under Arts in Sharda Mahavidyalaya is to have an intake capacity of 120 seats. Admission to the B.A. program shall be determined on the basis of merit considering the marks obtained on the 12th standard and the duration of the course is for three years during which students can choose to pursue subjects offered by the college.
B.Sc.: Like the B.A program, it also offers a Bachelor of Science course with an intake of 120 seats. The admissions are on merit basis according to the examination taken in the 12th standard mainly for science subjects. The B.Sc course is a 3-year course in various specializations in science disciplines.
B.Com: Bachelor of Commerce is a program with 120 seats for admission and students getting admitted to the course would enter through the base of merit. Applicants must have answered the 12th standard in commerce or related subjects to qualify for the program. The duration in the program is three years, which reflects the perspectives in commercial and business subjects.
BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications is a program that has an intake of 80 seats. Merit is the criterion in granting admissions from the marks obtained in the 12th standard. The course duration is three years, directing interests in a career in computer applications and information technology.
M.A. Urdu: The seats available for this program are 60. Admission is based on merit as per his bachelor's score, preferably in Urdu or a related subject. It is a two-year postgraduate program for students who want to specialize in Urdu language and literature.
M.A. Psychology: Admission relies purely on merit judging students and having 60 inputs into the total. As before, the admission is purely merit-based based on the marks obtained in the bachelor's degree in Psychology or an associated subject. This course makes up a two-year program leading students into advanced studies in psychology.
