It is good overall. But there are times when infrastructure needs to be improved timely. Otherwise the new building infrastructure is quite well and cleaned at a same time. So infrastructure is a key.
As doing bachelor from science background academically college should be top notch and the teacher faculty should be nice so that they can clear your doubts. There fore academically its a nice college
It's a off campus therefore placements are not that high. But People Clear with their thoughts why they are here and what they want to become. So yeah placement are not that great but yeah opportunities are more.
My course cost per year I think it's averagely worth paying. Infrastructures of lab isn't that great as it requires renovation but yeah it's good As it's a government college it's fees is comparatively lower.
Nice
One of the best off campus college in Delhi University. An underrated one with best academic-fun balance along with proper infrastructure facilities required. Don't feel low if u got this clg as it is off campus . Get in- you won't regret.
The teachers are equally qualified and humble to be engaged with. Follows the updated and newest curriculum with all practical labs fully functional and operational with recent developments in the subject
The college has its own placement cell offering different intership opportunities to the students starting from their 1st year . Their annual event focuses on bringing in better and better companies with high salary packages and a decent average package for the students
The annual fee averages around 15-22k and remains almost constant over the years . This costing is perfect for what the college offers and it's worth all the knowledge and fun shared by the faculty and the college altogether.
Yes u may feel the campus life a little boring as it doesn't belong to any major campus or belongs to a student packed locality yet the fest remains vibrant and joyful.
The college has good infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, laboratories, library, and basic facilities. The campus is clean and equipped with modern amenities, providing a comfortable environment for students. However, some areas could be upgraded further to enhance the overall experience.
The college offers a strong academic curriculum with knowledgeable faculty and a focus on both theory and practical learning. Regular lectures, assignments, and exams help maintain discipline, though more industry exposure and updated resources could improve the learning experience.
The college provides average placement opportunities, with a decent number of students placed in reputed companies. However, most offers are from mass recruiters, and higher packages or core job opportunities are limited.
The college offers decent value for money with reasonable fees compared to the facilities and education provided. Placements and exposure could be better, but overall it justifies the cost for most students.
The campus life is vibrant with cultural events, fests, and student activities. Facilities for sports and clubs add to the experience, though more variety in events and engagement could improve it. Good environment
College infrastructure isn't top-notch.. it is decent .. Shivaji college has small auditorium , decent class rooms ... But sports field is large College have large library airconditioner computer labs
Shivaji College Basically shivaji college I am studying b.com program, the faculty is good very supportive.is an academically strong constituent college of the university of Delhi and this college is offer wide range of ug programmes
So shivaji college is off campus college .. the placements of this college not much expectable Highest placements of shivaji College in 2024 around 21LPA in b.com program and average package is 4-5 LPA
In b.com program per year college fees is around 20k+.. Shivaji college is worth it it terms of money basically this college is better than Many south and off campus colleges
I would say college life is totally depends on you , how you grab opportunities.. but college life in shivaji College is decent good you will get good friends as well seniors and fest of this college is top-notch.
College is good enough if you have potential and courage to do something than welcome to shivaji College
The college provides world-class infrastructure with centralized AC classrooms, comfortable seating, and digital boards. Laboratories are equipped with advanced instruments. The library is vast with thousands of books.
Academics here strike a balance between traditional teaching and modern learning techniques. While the professors focus on building foundational knowledge, they also emphasize application-based learning.
The college has an excellent record of campus placements, with almost 90% of students securing jobs in the last session. Pre-placement training programs, aptitude tests, and skill-development sessions prepare students well.
The college offers a well-rounded package at the given fee. Not only does it focus on academics, but it also ensures personality development, placement preparation, and extracurricular activities, which makes the overall cost of studying here a good value for money in the long run.
With multiple events, workshops, and cultural celebrations happening throughout the year, campus life is both enriching and entertaining. The student community is diverse, which allows for cultural exchange and broadens perspectives.
The college infrastructure has definitely improved in the past few years. Classrooms are clean. The library is well-stocked and air-conditioned, which becomes a peaceful spot during free hours. Washrooms are maintained better than before. The canteen food is okay. There’s a nice lawn and open sitting area.
The college offers decent academic exposure. Most professors are knowledgeable and supportive, especially in departments like Commerce, English, and Political Science. Teaching quality can be inconsistent across departments. Some professors go the extra mile to help students, while others are just average.
The placements of this college are average. Commerce students get some decent opportunities, especially in sales, marketing, but core roles are limited. Packages are usually in the 3-4 LPA range. Internship support is there but mostly through student initiatives or personal efforts.
Good
The college campus is not huge or super flashy, but it has a comforting, familiar vibe and there is enough open space to chill between classes and a sense of community here, especially among those active in cultural and academic societies.
Shivaji college does its job well, but the real learning often happens outside the classroom. From seminars to fests and inter-college competitions, there is always something happening that pushes you to step out of your comfort zone.
Placement-wise, shivaji is not a placement powerhouse, but it does provide decent exposure. Some students manage to land jobs through campus drives, but many rely on internship and The college encourages you to explore your path rather than handholding you through it.
for me the infrastructure is poor it needs to make changes there in terms of the reputation that uod holds the garden area and the outside area gives a good environment but inside the old building you may get bored with the infrastructure whereas the new building is far better than the old one.
currently i am doing b.a. there the teaching staff is average they are neither cool nor strict basically you need to do the syllabus by yourself only for me the course is just for graduation thats why the staff is that much chill.
as i am not a part of any placement cell yet so i cant tell how the experience there but for my course the placement is rare or negligible but it might be good for some other courses like b com hons n others
i think the fees for my course ( b.a.) is too much in terms of the facilities and experience and the environment the fees demand by them is higher than the fees demanded by SSCBS for bms its literally crazy
for me i am not enjoying it too much but if you are part of societies and have a group to hangout you will enjoy there for sure the cultural socities there are damn good where the whole sum event like fest and diwali mela also experienced there
College infrastructure is not good as compared to other delhi university colleges as there is no hostel facility. However,College ground is biggest among other delhi colleges and a also decent libarary.
As BA programme graduate,I can say faculty is good and supportive towards students.Cirrculum is also updated.there are various societies which you can join for skill and knowledge enhancement. This will probably make you job ready.
There is a placement committee in our college.Mostly companies hire students form bcom ,bcom honours,Ba economics honours,Bsc mathematics,Bsc physics ,Bsc chemistry. No is very less in humanities stream.
Yes ,it is value of money as it a government colleges.
As this is a off campus college,so campus life is not as good as compared to North and South campuses.Location is good as it is walking distance from Metro.
College is overall good among off campus college.
The college has primarily 2 buildings that are inter connected, the newer building infra is top notch with clean washrooms, beautiful classes just the only issue is lack of AC. The older building is also pretty good, but you can tell that it's old by the chipped off paint, old desks.
For academics it is a 5 star for sure. All the faculty is just so great in there jobs with such a understanding nature that you could go to any one of them with any of your problems. They would talk to you like you are a their younger sibling.
I have to say the placement scenario is not very good, considering what the students of North campus are able to get. The highest package for commerce students riks around 12-13 LPA with average at 4-5LPA. I can only comment on commerce background which I study for.
Well anyone who decides to not take up the seat he had been offered in Delhi University just because of the fees is a fool. Since dekhi University has one of the lowest fees out there for under graduation with giving some of the highest level of education possible in India.
This will be another 5 star for me. The crowd of shivaji college is just so much better than I expected. With everyone being so friendly and helpful. Especially the seniors, even the one who are not in your same course.
Hi Subhi Agrawal,
The Shivaji College in Delhi University is pretty good for BA course. There are internship opportunities for students which are similar to final placement roles in order to get practical knowledge. Infrastructure wise, this college has a good campus with all facilities and hygiene. There are hostels available for students as well as teachers. The canteen seems to provide all kinds of food. The teachers are also very helpful and well knowledgeable. they teach theoretical as well as provide practical knowledge.
