Shivaji College round 2 seat allotment for CUET 2025 has been released on July 28, 2025.
CUET 2025 first seat allotment for Shivaji Collegewas released on July 19, 2025.
Shivaji College has mostly all the requisites that a student looks for. We can avail Wifi services in the campus, nicely maintained rooms, among other facilities. The campus is satisfactorily clean and food is of decent quality.
I am pursuing my graduation in the field of economics. Our curriculum is annually updated as per the university's instructions and includes a lot he recent developments. Some teachers are very hard working & cordial.
The Placement Cell of our college is designated with the task to invite several companies on the campus (for both internship & placement). Many companies visit the campus often & select several students.
My course costs less than 15k each year. It is worthy to do such a valued course at this cost.
Our campus is spread over quite big area. The sports is complex is also huge (however, is separate from the campus).
In these three years at Shivaji college, I got to learn numerous skills and earn some precious memories. I will cherish these moments forever.
The ambiance is quite good, things it lags in are the proper insulation, improper studying environment, the classes are very claustrophobic and needs a lot of cleanliness. All n all, a beautiful place to study with a bit more to put.
Academically it's quite fantastic. Teachers are quite helpful, the inefficiency and absenteeism is an issue, the curriculum so far includes everything it should have. A lil bit of more real life working exposure would have been an icing on the cake
Never had a chance to get any placement, so can't really comment on that, and don't want to answer it on the basis of what other students think and have experienced. Last year, few students got good placement amounting upto 5-6 lakhs per annum, the business economics hons as usual was in lead.
The course cost near about 35k excluding other non college expenses as of conveyance and accommodation, the money been charged in comparison to other courses which cost around 10k-12k, the amount is quite high.
The campus life is quite boring, can't really find any interesting thing, the best is the ground, which provides good air and area to sit, the worst definitely the classes which needs a lot of more.
A very good infrastructure with all requirements. The main attraction is the huge library. There are a lot of places to hangout in college. And the Bru valii chai jaan h . A good canteen with full vegetarian food and snacks .A good package of good college which give you a memorable time.
I am pursuing B.A.(hns) Business Economics from shivaji college. The staff members are too cooperative. I must say , i feel very familiar with all the teachers. This course is totally a professional course which has also a placement opportunities i.e. it makes you a warrior of market who is ready to job.
Placements are too good in this college. I am pursuing BBE which has a lot of chances to get an average placement of 7-8 lacs /year which is quite good . I am also work in placement coordinator in placement cell of this college so i know that we try to support to get the placement. The highest package is 9 lacs to B.Com(Hns).
The academic fees of my course is only 12k per year which is nominal as per the study quality. The huge library, supportive teacher and environment of college make me feel that i get a very good college.
Shivaji college has a campus life which a student really wants. It is established near rajouri garden market which is the one of the most demanding place for a shopoholic. The momoz center near the college Ahhha.... I feel watery even writing about it. If a say about college life , its time must be my favourite .
collage structre is good . i have been to many colaages but shivaji had an very impressive infrastructure ,the builiding is very well maintained and the specailly are best with projectors in every class
teachers are very good they are very polite and ready to help very time. in my class there are many students from science stream so teacher gives them extra classes from there free time to cop up with all the commerce background students
as iam an 1st year student i didn't got any oppoutunty yet but my seniors got really good package from really reputed comapanies with average package of 3-4 lacks per year .with years going by more an more companies are coming
fees is more as compared to other collages but it value for money as we get more exposure as compared to other BBE collages of delhi university. it is totally value for money as it gives best facilities .
the campus is covered over 10 acres. The surroundings of college is very good. it has very beautiful park in middle of campus with beautiful flowerings. its sports ground is also very outstanding with all the equipments of sports
In comparison to DU standards, this college has really good infrastructure. All the relevant labs are in place and the library has a very good collection of academic and non academic books. The college is a NAAC accredited "A" grade. The football field is also FIFA accredited. One of the only two in Delhi/NCR. However the auditorium needs to be bigger since it does not accommodate all needs. In terms of hygiene it is like any other government college.
This is not specific to the college since the Bcom(Hons) syllabus and module is uniform throughout DU. The Bcom syllabus needs a massive upgrade as it is not commensurate with the current scope of work. Currently it is very theoretical, it needs more of a practical approach. Furthermore there needs to be more emphasis on apprenticeship/internship programmes than having theoretical classes for 3 years straight. It will not prepare you for jobs in the real world.
The placement of the college is very active. The placement cell works really well for the students. However there is a always a clash between the authorities and the placement cell. This may cause problems for the placement cell as a result of which there might be difficulties to get companies.
The total cost was around rupees 8000 per year so it was worth it just by basis of the fee.
Shivaji College has the best infrastructure. Smart classrooms are available. A computer lab is available with more than 500 PCs. The management is concerned about the health of students, The campus is spread over an area of around 10 acres used for academic and sports purposes
The academics is very good in shivaji college because the cut offs are very high in this college. So, you must consider this college in academics . There are a lot of students in this college who really wants to study.
Seniors got decent placements. Firms like Make My Trip, Redbull, etc., offered placements. Interviews were organised, and the students were evaluated based on their educational as well as co-curricular activities.
The college has overall nice infra . its just that some places are not clean and we have our ground across the other side of the road . some lts , the top floor rooms , are congested and not so airy .
the course is up to date but some teachers are not good enough to teach us . they didn't even show up sometimes and half of the times they even didnt tell us the whole syllabus for the exams . we have to manage on our own .
the placements are like neglibile from the side of the college . its only placement cell of the college , run by the students ,which makes efforts to bring some good companies . but still its not up to the expectations as been required .
cost is low but despite that value is not upto worth bcoz of not satisfied with the study provided by teachers
its quite good , safe . the staff is supportive . location is also overall good and convenient to reach via metro or dtc
no
College infrastructure is good , as the way the structure is designed is full of wind , in college there is a famous point near principal office is 'Hawa Mahal' , as the name suggested this place is full of windy weather every time and every season. There is WiFi also in the building.
I m studing B.A. (Hons) Business economics , this college as very good reputation in the area of study, I joined here in 2018 , and the structure is very good for the course , they gives campus placement , and whenever required to change the academic structure they changes it.
The quality of placement are very good as many huge and reputed firms comes in campus for placements, and placement cell of the college is working really hard to make more companies come to the campus. And the average package is around 3-4 lacs.
My course fees is really high , it is around 34000 per year and also they change the fees every year for new batch ( increase in fees) , and also they charge high fees for my course as compared to other DU colleges. I think it is worthy of that fees as at the end they are giving 3-4 lacs. Package.
Campus life is bad as they had design the criculum of the course only for study . If you are in a society they little bit of fun in your campus life . And the college doesn't go for sports activities . They generally focus on study. Otherwise campus life is good, teachers are good,
All the classrooms are airy and clean . The campus has main building and separated sports complex in which there are cricket ground, football ground, basketball ground, volleyball ground, tennis courts and cricket nets for practice. The college has a state of the art laboratory . Computer labs are available with internet facility and also have a wi-fi for college students . The whole campus is wi-fi enabled . We too have an college auditorium where multiple activities are conducted .
Academics are good as compared to other du colleges because most of the du colleges are famous for politics and election like campaigns. Since our college lies in off campus college . So, elections affect study of students in our college low compared to other colleges students.
Seniors got decent placements . Firms like make my trip , redbull and etc. , Offered placements where interviews are organised and students are evaluated based on their educational as well as co-curricular activities . The highest salary offered was 50,000 per month and the lowest salary was 20,000 per month . Every year, different different copanies come to our college for placements . Placements in our college are sufficient . We also have a placement cell in our college which helps us .
It is good but as compared to other du colleges , it is quite higher . Like, i am studying B.A.(hons.) Business economics; our college,i.e. shivaji college charges 34k-35k per year but in colleges like aryabhatta and cvs the fees is quite low.
All the faculty members in our college are very helpful and have good teaching skills . Teachers conduct the classes regularly , and the teaching style is good. All teachers take good care of students .
Our college organises annual fest which is known as vibrations where artists from different backgrounds visit our college . We too held various intellectual lectures on various different subjects . Department vise fests are also organised in our college . Our college have mother dairy booth and also bru cafe.
Hi Subhi Agrawal,
The Shivaji College in Delhi University is pretty good for BA course. There are internship opportunities for students which are similar to final placement roles in order to get practical knowledge. Infrastructure wise, this college has a good campus with all facilities and hygiene. There are hostels available for students as well as teachers. The canteen seems to provide all kinds of food. The teachers are also very helpful and well knowledgeable. they teach theoretical as well as provide practical knowledge.
