Single Window Counselling admits 65% of the annual intake in all courses and the balance 35% is taken care of by the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional Colleges according to Government of Tamil Nadu norms.

For engineering undergraduate courses, the minimum requirement is passing 10+2 from a known board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects. The college takes marks in different entrance tests, like Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission into MBA courses.

Application Procedure

The process of application to Shree Venkateshwara Hi-Tech Engineering College differs based on the course:

For B.Tech/BE courses:

1. Clear the entrance exam as per prescription (as per state government norms).

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech/BE Courses: The college provides different courses in B.Tech and BE such as Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Information Technology, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Biotechnology, Cyber Security, and Civil Engineering. Single Window Counselling and Consortium of Self-Financing Professional Colleges accept admissions for these courses (65% and 35% seats respectively). The sanctioned intake differs from 30 to 120 seats based on the programme.

MBA Programme: The procedure for the MBA programme is the same as that of the engineering programmes with 65% of the seats filled through Single Window Counselling and 35% through the Consortium. The approved strength of the MBA programme is 60 seats. The admissions are given on the basis of TANCET scores followed by subsequent selection procedures as per state norms.

M.Tech/ME Courses: Postgraduate engineering courses like ME Industrial Safety and Engineering, ME Structural Engineering, and ME Construction Engineering and Management are offered by the college. Admission to these courses is the same as for undergraduate courses, as per state government regulations. The sanctioned intake of these courses is between 24 and 30 seats.
