Shyamlal Saraswati Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to the university in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various disciplines. Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: The college offers bachelor's degrees in Arts which are 187 in number. The admission is mostly on merit considering the number of marks obtained by the applicant in the qualifying 10+2 examination.

B.Sc.: There are two B.Sc. programs available-Bio Group and Math Group, both with 120 seats each. Admission is based on merit and considers the relevant subject marks in the 10+2 examination.

B.Com.: The Bachelor of Commerce program has seats for 80 students. The admission process is based on the merit list prepared from the qualifying examination scores.

B.Ed.: The Bachelor of Education program offered has 100 seats. Admission is carried out on merit based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as directed by the policy of the State Government/U.T. Administration and the University.

M.Sc.: The college offers courses of M.Sc. in Mathematics, Biotechnology, and Chemistry with 60, 40, and 30 seats respectively. The admissions are primarily based on the performance of students in their bachelor's degree and may include an entrance exam or interview.

M.Ed.: The Master of Education program offers 50 seats. The mode of admission will therefore be based on merits accruing from the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per policy of State Government/Central Government/University/UT Administration.

D.El.Ed.: This program has a total of 50 seats. Merit, based on marks obtained in either the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, shall carry the seal of approval of the pertinent state government/UT Administration.
