Smt. R.R. Patel Mahila Arts and Commerce College, Rajkot is a women-oriented institution where the advancement of arts and commerce could be made in the best form of quality education. Thus, the admission procedure provides a smooth way for the aspiring female candidates into the institution.

There are certain eligibility criteria that have to be satisfied for admission. Candidates should have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized board higher secondary qualifications in arts (BA) and commerce (B.Com) under-graduate programs offered by the college; hence, those who completed their higher secondary with subjects relevant to either or both of these can apply.

The college considers the academic records in the 10+2 board examinations as the one priority criterion for admissions.

Application Process

1. Obtain the application form from the college office or download it from the official college website.

2. Duly fill out the application with accurate personal information, academic qualifications, and the program chosen (BA or B.Com).

3. Attach the following documents:

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets

• School leaving certificate

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Passport-size photographs

4. Submit the duly filled application form along with all the relevant documents to the college admission office.

5. Application Fees shall be paid as prescribed by the college.

6. Documents and application details will be verified by the college admission committee.

7. The merit list based on academic performance in the 10+2 examinations by candidates shall be published by the college.

Degree-wise Admission Process

BA: As per the admission mode for BA, both general and honors programs, it is on a marks-obtained basis in the 10+2 exam along with subject priority for the arts stream. Qualified candidates must have successfully completed their high secondary education in arts subjects or equivalent.

Commerce: Enrollment from applicants who have completed the 10+2 in commerce subjects or equivalent shall be admitted. Admission shall be on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination.
