Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, is one of the premier homeopathic colleges in Punjab. The college follows the merit system of admission and adheres to all the rules and regulations as per directives.
Eligibility for BHMS course of Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery is 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. For MD, students must pass their BHMS degree and qualify NEET PG.
Application Procedure
Procedure of application for Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital varies for various programs:
For BHMS course:
1. Qualify in the NEET exam.
2. Apply through the centralized counselling process in accordance with national or state guidelines.
3. Submit required documents, i.e., NEET score card, 10+2 mark sheets, and other certificates as required.
4. Attend counseling if shortlisted.
5. Complete admission procedures, i.e., fee payment, if a seat is granted.
For MD courses:
1. Clear the NEET PG exam.
2. Apply through centralized counseling process for PG medical admission.
3. Submit required documents, i.e., NEET PG score card, BHMS degree certificate, completion of internship certificate, etc., as stated above.
4. Attend counseling, if shortlisted.
5. Complete the admission procedures, i.e., payment of fees, if offered a seat.
Degree wise Admission Process
BHMS: The college has been granted an approved strength of 60 seats in its 4-year Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) program. It is admitted on the basis of NEET scores. The student must have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects.
MD Homoeopathic Organon of Medicine and Philosophy: A 6-seat postgraduate programme. Admission is based on NEET PG scores. A BHMS degree is mandatory for this candidate to make it eligible.
MD Homoeopathic Materia Medica: A second 6-seat postgraduate programme. Admission is on the same pattern as other MD programmes, i.e., NEET PG qualification and a BHMS degree.
MD Homoeopathic Repertory: This post-graduate program also has an intake capacity of 6 seats. The admissions are made on the basis of marks in NEET PG and BHMS degree.
Hello student cut off vary every year on various factors like level of question in examination seats available and total number of applicants in the entrance examination. As per previous year records it's expected that you need to secure at least 500 + marks in Neet to get admission in Guru nanak dev homeopathic college.
Neet Eligibility - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 in Physics chemistry and biology with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board.
