College has nice infrastructure but sometimes the Air condition doesn't work and the college gym is quite basic. Do not expect much from the conference infrastructure as it isn't what you would expect.
Most of the teachers are good. I am studying b.com and the teachers are nice. They act all bad but they give you many chances to submit the projects and assignments. You don't even to spend money on books as there are readings available at really cheap price.
Don't expect too much for campus placement. Try to achieve placement not through college. You can get really nice packages if you do many internships and make a really good portfolio to present your skills
The fees is only 30,000 per annum. The only expense you need to consider is the cost of living if you live anywhere other than delhi.
The overall campus life of North campus is great. You meet people and learn about different perspectives.
The college is nice the auditorium is amazing but the classes don't have a 5 star experience And also the interior over-all should be a bit better ....... Specially the area behind main ground is not too good
The teacher are nice and helpful.....but you need to cope up with the syllabus yourself as well because they won't teach u in depth or like school times .... Some teachers will be a bot uncooperative but u have to manage
No clue about placement as I have just finished my first year .... Will get to know about it later on only .... So will not be able to comment the best on this topic .. but I guess it's good only ....
100% value for money
Jannat and Nescafe is the vibe of this college .... Campus life is amazing
College infrastructure is average. It can be good if maintained, especially the walls, benches and air conditioners. Although it has improved since last two years but still not enough. It can be improved further.Wifi is available but smartboards are limited and not used in all courses.
I am a bcom student and according to me, only few teachers are genuinely interested in teaching properly. Rest I dont know how some teachers became teachers, like literally they dont possess enough knowledge of their subjects. They are just reading from study material and converting it into basic hindi. No explanation, no understanding.
Well according to the last year data, the highest placement was around 26 lakhs. Placement cell also conducts internship fair every year before summer vacations but not all get the internships. Placement rate is above average.
In my college, most of the courses' fees is around 30,000 which is the highest in north campus and among almost all the du colleges. But the college is not worth paying 30,000. They focus on theory rather than practical knowledge.
Well there is no difference in the campus life. Its same for almost all du colleges. Students enjoy fests, events, on account of various occasions throught the year. The campus life is quite happening.
Campus is well maintained, clean and green equipped with modern facilities, classrooms are well maintained and spacious, library is well stocked with academic , the sports facilities and gymnasium and canteen contribute to students wellness
College offers wide range of undergraduate courses across science, commerce and humanities. Faculty is highly qualified and supportive and approachable. Many professors not only teach but mentor students.
Placement cell is active and dedicated to helping students get placed in reputed companies . Workshops, internships and seminars are regularly organised to make students industry ready. The placements record is also good.
Yes
Good
I would say that the college infrastructure could be better like ac and all otherwise everything is ok. some classes have ac some don’t have this causes problem because during summers it get too hot in delhi.
academics is great as it as north campus college its great top rated education and quality of teachers are also great so i would highly recommend this college in terms of academic to every student applying.
In sri guru tegh bahadur khalsa college there is ignite a placement and internship society which helps every student. and the placements are decent if you work well for them to achieve. through this society it is beneficial to get placement as well.
The courser fee per year is very up to the mark as the fee they have to every course is around 20-30k a year which i think is decent. and yes it’s a worthy because you can spend more money on postgrade after doing undergrade at this college.
The crowd is mix matched so it really depends whom you hang out with. there are basketball courts and everything. cricket matches are held and the teaching stuff is also great in terms of helping students.
Overall It’s a great college if you want to come and study in feasible fee and spend more on your postgrad rather than undergrad
Collage too bad I only went in this college because I was good in sports like cricket and kho kho but when I went there the facility and staff no good buildings are to poor and bad half of the room are empty cus they are not in the situation to be used.
Collage is good for studies but as there are many courses specialization available in my college my college is very Good for students from sports back ground we are provided with good stuff and management also support us
I don't much about placement frankly cus I am not connected with al this but I guess aur college has a placement and their are placement affairs held in college many times and i hope that I also ge placed
The academic structure of [Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, New Delhi] is well-organized and up-to-date with industry standards. The curriculum is designed to blend theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Most programs are affiliated with reputed universities and follow a semester-wise system. The college encourages research, innovation, and continuous learning through seminars, workshops, and guest lectures.
Overall, [Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College ] provides a balanced environment for academic learning, personal development, and career growth. It’s a great place for students looking for both quality education and an enriching campus experience.
The placement cell is active and invites several top companies for campus recruitment. The college provides placement training sessions, including resume building, mock interviews, and aptitude training. Many students secure internships in reputed firms, which often lead to pre-placement offers.
The tuition fee is relatively moderate compared to other institutions offering similar programs. The course structure, facilities, and exposure justify the fee. Scholarships and installment options are also available, making it accessible to students from various backgrounds.
Campus life is vibrant and diverse. There are various clubs and societies for technical, cultural, and social activities. Annual fests, cultural programs, and sports events keep students engaged. The environment is inclusive, and students from different backgrounds feel welcome.
The college has average infrastructure but college administration are trying to make it better the construction has started in the college for renovation of old buildings. DU has also granted them to make a good infra.
For academics I'll say that college is good. For me all this depends upon teacher and students corporation and dedication towards their subjects. The college is know for many types of UG course like b.com, economics hons. Etc.
The college it's self has his placement cell which helps the students to find internship and jobs. But nepotism always work the people who are part of the placement cell get better' opportunity rather than other students.
The walls are classes are very old, the walls are chipping off but the facilities are all there like projectors and podiums . The sports infrastructure is very good with proper equipments . Auditorium are air conditioned.
College offers all the courses and faculty is very experienced with their own advancements in selected domains . Teachers are really helpful providing support materials and extra classes and also doubt sessions .
The college falls in the north campus of Delhi university. Inviting best companies for the placement also big four companies like Deloitte, kpmg etc offering good packages. The placement cell works whole year to felicitated students.
My per anum fee is twenty five thousand as it is a government college the experience is great the cllg works in realistic world exposing students to actual world probelm rather than just theoretical knowledge.
DU offers best campus life with student leisure events like society events inviting social personalities to interact, celebrities and also including activities like case hunts , performances ,and singings.
My experience with the college infrastructure has been quite positive overall. The college is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment that support academic and extracurricular development. Classrooms are spacious and fitted with modern amenities like smart boards, projectors, and proper ventilation. The laboratories for science and computer subjects are well-maintained and equipped with updated tools and systems, which makes practical learning more effective. The library is another highlight—it’s quiet, resourceful, and offers access to a wide range of academic books, journals, and online databases. Free high-speed WiFi is available throughout the campus, which is a huge plus for research and online learning. The sports centre and gym are well-equipped, and students are encouraged to participate in various physical activities. The hostels are clean and secure, with proper 24/7 security and maintenance staff. The living spaces are regularly cleaned, and basic facilities like laundry, water coolers, and common rooms are available. The canteen food is decent, though it can be repetitive at times. However, the hygiene standards are commendable, and the food is prepared with attention to cleanliness. Overall, the infrastructure supports a healthy and productive learning environment. A few areas could still use improvement, like expanding seating in the library and improving food variety in the mess, but the college management actively works on feedback from students.
I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in arts . The teaching quality is overall good, with most professors being experienced and cooperative. The curriculum is updated and includes recent developments relevant to the subject. Regular workshops, guest lectures, and seminars help bridge the gap between theory and practical knowledge, making us somewhat job-ready by the end of the course.
Placements are decent, especially for technical and management-related courses. Around 60–70% of students are placed each year. The highest package went up to ₹10 LPA for a Computer Science student, while the average salary ranges between ₹3–4 LPA. The placement cell conducts training, mock interviews, and resume-building sessions, which help. The process is smooth, and the college is quite supportive throughout.
The annual fee is reasonable compared to private institutions. For the facilities, teaching, and exposure provided, I feel I am getting good value for my money. The college also supports students through scholarships and fee concessions based on merit or financial need.
Campus life is active and engaging. There are multiple societies for drama, dance, debate, music, and more. Cultural and academic fests are organized frequently. The student crowd is friendly, and the environment is safe. Teachers, admin staff, and support staff are approachable and cooperative. The campus is located in a secure area and emergency protocols are in place.
Hello aspirant
Gargi College has been an amazing college and ranked 16th in the NIRF 2021 ranking in the college category and it was ranked 16th in the NIRF 2020 college ranking. The college has been granted the Star College status by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India consecutively for 9 years.
sgtb college is also an excellent college with a credit in NAAC established in 1951 with 15 acres campus . it's a tough call to choose one of the college among these two .

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, New Delhi, will be the best option among the Gargi, ARSD, and Khalsa College if the distance is not the parameter.
SGTB Khalsa College is the oldest college with the best infrastructure and phenomenal teaching faculty. Every facility is available in this college.
For Maths Hons, I suggest you prefer SGTB Khalsa over other colleges; else, ARSD is not a bad option.
