Sri Malolan Arts and Sciences College, Madurantakam, is a college affiliated with the Thiruvalluvar University, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Com and BBA: The principal consideration that the college gives to the applicants intending to be admitted into either B.Com and BBA will be the marks obtained by the applicants in their 10+2 examination. Some preference could also be allocated to students belonging to Commerce stream, but students from other streams may apply as well. Merit will be the rule, considering not only the eligibility percentage but also scores in Trade areas.

B.Sc Programs (Computer Science, Mathematics with Computer Applications, Physics with Computer Applications):
Those who would wish to apply for admission into B.Sc programs must have obtained a sound background in science subject(s). The requirement includes Mathematics and some relevant science subjects taken at the 10+2 level. Admission will be granted based on the marks obtained in these qualifying subjects in addition to the overall percentage.

BCA: Alternative streams can apply for the BCA program since a candidate from any stream may apply. Candidates with Mathematics or Computer Science backgrounds in 10+2 may be privileged in this case. Admission will be based on overall performance in the qualifying examination, but preference will be given to subject scores of Mathematics and Computer Science if available.

MA English: Applicants who have graduated with a degree in English or an allied subject are eligible for admission into MA English. M.Com: Candidates looking forward to enrolling in the M.Com course need a B.Com or any degree recognized as equivalent for the selection based on the marks cleared from undergraduate program study, which emphasizes the commerce and accounting subjects.
