Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

To secure a seat in the Horticulture program through the ICAR AIEEA PG (Indian Council of Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination for Admission Postgraduate) entrance examination, a general category student typically needs to achieve a competitive score.

The exact number of marks required can vary each year based on factors such as the overall difficulty of the exam, the number of applicants, and the performance of the candidates. Generally a high percentile score is needed to stand a good chance of admission  which often translates to achieving a rank within the top 5-10 percent of the candidates.

For more specific details you can  review the previous year  cutoff marks for Horticulture or consult the official ICAR website and admission brochures. These resources will help you in getting the most accurate and up to date information on the marks required for different categories and programs.

Hope this resolves your query.

Based on your situation, it seems there may have been some confusion regarding the eligibility criteria for non-local candidates in TS LAWCET. Generally, for state entrance exams like TS LAWCET, "non-local" candidates are those who are not residents of the state but have fulfilled specific residency requirements, such as living in the state for a certain number of years or completing a portion of their education there.

Since you are a native of Karnataka and currently live there, and you have only spent two years in Hyderabad for your PG studies from 2014-2016, you do not meet the residency requirements to be considered a "non-local" candidate for Telangana. The non-local category usually applies to those who have lived in Telangana for a specific duration, even if they are not native to the state.

As you are neither a local nor meet the residency criteria for non-local status in Telangana, it is likely that you are not eligible for TS LAWCET counseling. However, I recommend contacting the TS LAWCET authorities directly for clarification. They can provide specific guidance and confirm whether your rank allows you to participate in counseling under any special provisions or if there are any exceptions.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

The marks required to secure an MD in Pharmacology through NEET PG can vary significantly depending on the years exam difficulty, competition levels, and the number of available seats.

Generally for a government medical college, you need to score well within the top percentiles to be competitive for MD Pharmacology  given the specialties specific cutoff trends. Typically a rank within the top few thousand  which corresponds to a high score in the NEET PG  would be necessary.

As the cutoffs can fluctuate, it is necessary to review the previous years cutoff trends and patterns for MD Pharmacology at various institutions to get a better estimate.

Hope this resolves your query.

Hello there,

  1. "Microbiology" by Gerard J. Tortora, Berdell R. Funke, and Christine L. Case - This comprehensive textbook covers the fundamental concepts of microbiology, including cell structure, genetics, metabolism, and the diversity of microorganisms.
  2. "Prescott's Microbiology" by Joanne Willey, Linda Sherwood, and Christopher J. Woolverton - A widely used textbook that provides a thorough overview of microbiology, including topics such as microbial growth, pathogenesis, and immunology.
  3. "Brock Biology of Microorganisms" by Michael T. Madigan, John M. Martinko, Kelly S. Bender, Daniel H. Buckley, and David A. Stahl - A comprehensive reference book that covers the latest developments in microbiology, making it a valuable resource for advanced study.
  4. "Microbiology: An Introduction" by Gerard J. Tortora, Berdell R. Funke, and Christine L. Case - A more concise version of the authors' larger textbook, suitable for introductory-level courses.
  5. "Microbiology Principles and Explorations" by Jacquelyn G. Black - A well-organized textbook that emphasizes the practical applications of microbiology, including clinical and environmental aspects.

These books are widely used in CUET PG Microbiology exam as they provides a strong foundation, where a student get to learn about things from basic to advanced level.

I hope this help you.

hello

As a non-Karnataka student completing MBBS from KMC Manipal or KMC Mangalore, you are eligible for PG quota in Karnataka government colleges, but with some conditions:

1. Karnataka Quota: You'll be considered under the "All India Quota" or "Management Quota" for PG admissions in Karnataka government colleges.

2. Eligibility: You must have completed your MBBS from a Karnataka-based institution (like KMC Manipal or KMC Mangalore) and have a valid MBBS degree.

3. PG NEET: You need to qualify for the PG NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam to be eligible for PG admissions.

4. Karnataka Domicile: If you've completed your MBBS in Karnataka and have a Karnataka domicile certificate, you might be considered under the "Karnataka Quota" for PG admissions.

5. Government College Quota: For government colleges, a certain percentage of seats are reserved for Karnataka domicile students. You might be eligible for these seats if you meet the domicile criteria.

To confirm your eligibility and quota status, I recommend:

- Checking the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) website or PG NEET brochure for detailed eligibility criteria.

- Contacting the college or institution you're interested in applying to for clarification on their quota and eligibility rules.

- Consulting with a career counselor or education expert familiar with Karnataka's PG medical admissions process.

Remember, admission rules and quotas can change, so it's essential to stay updated and verify the information with relevant authorities.

Candidates belonging to the creamy layer of OBC are NOT entitled to reservation in any exam and even in neet the reservation is given only to non creamy layer candidates however if you fill the form obC category creamy layer it wont affect your admission process you can participate in the NEET PG counselling process as general category candidates.
