Stanley College of Education, Pappireddipatti, a co-educational institution since its inception, strives to impart training to would-be teachers in diverse learning styles. An affiliated college of the National Council for Teacher Education, Stanley College of Education offers training in two professional degree programmes for aspirants in education. For selection of eligible candidates to the B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses, admission to Stanley College of Education is organized.
The merit list shall consider the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examinations for admission selection, in accordance with the rules set by the state government and the affiliated university. For both B.Ed. and M.Ed., eligibility shall be determined with respect to merit in academic performance in the qualifying examinations. Application Process
The college follows the application process described below:
1. Eligibility Check: Ensure that you are fulfilling the academic requirements of the program (B.Ed or M.Ed).
2. Application form: Collect the application form and fill it in. Though not specified on the college website, forms will usually be available online or in the office of admissions.

Admission Process Degree-wise
B.Ed: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program sanctioned intake for admission is 100 at Stanley College of Education. Admission to the B.Ed program is strictly by merit, either on the basis of the marks received in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Admission will be carried out in accordance with the policies laid down by the state government, UT Administration and the respective affiliated universities. Candidates who hold bachelor degrees in appropriate fields are eligible to submit an application for the B.Ed program.
M.Ed: The Master of Education (M.Ed) program allows admission for 50 students. The admission process is analogous to that of B.Ed and mostly merit based for selection. The candidates perform on the basis of the qualifying examination, entrance examination, or any other selection process enumerated in accordance with the policies of the state government, university, or UT Administration. The candidates should not be less than the B.Ed or equivalent degree for M.Ed.
