Swami Vivekananda School of Engineering and Technology, Khurda Admission Process
Swami Vivekananda School of Engineering and Technology (SVSET), Khurda, and has become a well-acclaimed college for Diploma courses in the various disciplines of engineering. Diploma Programmes: SVSET has six diploma programs in engineering with respect to each of these diploma programs, intake capacity for each is:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering: This program has the maximum intake of 162 seats. Admission will be on the basis of marks obtained through qualifying examinations and any entrance tests prescribed by the state technical education board.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: Similar to the above-printed admission process is followed in this program comprising 162 seats.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering: Here, 54 seats are available, and competition for admission is based on merit as well as the entrance exam.
- Diploma in Mining Engineering: Like the above, this specialized program also offers 54 seats for students seeking their interest in the mining sector.
- Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: It has a lesser intake of only 27 seats, making the admission process more selective.
- Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: Also having 27 seats, admissions to this program are made based on the academic background and results from relevant examinations.
For all the diploma courses, the entire fee structure is uniform at Rs. 79,500; hence planning can be made by students for their educational expenditure irrespective of specialization chosen.
