With a waiting number of 1810 for Symbiosis Law School Noida campus ,your chances of getting a seat through normal counseling are very slim. Usually, only the top 800–1000 waiting list candidates make it to preferred campuses like Noida or Pune, depending on withdrawal rates and seat availability. However, if Symbiosis Nagpur has already given you a seat and you’re trying to transfer to Noida, that’s not officially allowed unless the management intervenes, which rarely happens. You can try reaching out to the admission office directly with a formal request, but do not depend solely on it. Keep other law colleges in your preference list too.

For admission in symbiosis BBA in Pune, the process is generally simple  but you’ll need to clear a specific entrance exam called SET Symbiosis Entrance Test.

To be eligible, for the course you must have passed your 12th standard from a recognized board with the required marks usually around 50% for General category students. After that, the university conducts the SET exam, followed by a Personal Interview  and Written Ability Test  for shortlisted candidates.So technically, admission is merit-based through this selection route. You have three options: SIT Pune (Electronics and Telecommunication), MIT-WPU Pune (Electronics and Communication), and VIT Pune (Computer Science through management quota).

If your main goal is good placement and overall personality development, then VIT Pune is the best choice. It offers strong placements in software and IT companies. Even if you are joining through management quota, you will get the same placement chances as other students.

MIT-WPU Pune is also good. It has a modern campus and helps students build communication and soft skills. But placements in the core ECE field are less. Most students go for IT jobs.

SIT Pune is fine too, but it has fewer placement opportunities compared to the other two colleges. It is better if you do not get the other options.

So, if you want a career in software and good placements, go with VIT Pune. If you prefer a balanced college life with decent placements, MIT-WPU is a good option.

Although it might be difficult for you to get a seat in the branches that get the greatest number of applicants such as CSE or ECE, you may have an opportunity in the branches that get fewer applicants which means lower cut-offs such as Civil or Mechanical. I would also make you aware that if you have a JEE Main score in the relevant year, you should weigh the option of getting admission through your JEE Main score. Of course, you could also consider the Management Quota option as the chances of getting a seat are normally much better that way.

No, applicants based on JEE do not have to go for PI/GEPI (Personal Interview / Group Exercise & Personal Interview) at Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune. The PI/GEPI only applies for applicants through the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) route.
