i think the college infrastructure is nice but the building is too old because it is there since 1947. classrooms are bit old in GJB but its good in NRN block . hostel is good for girls but bit congested for boys .
Academics is excellent, teaching quality is good , curriculum is meant for future upcoming engineers according to present requirements in companies . I think one should choose NIE for better future in life
In NIE placement is good for all branches especially the placements are good for mechanical if we compare the placement of other colleges.therefore we can choose mechanical or other core branches for better placement.
Yes it has all the infrastructure it's pretty good and comfortable the are all types of lab requirements and in good quality and there are very good for the the Students there are smart boards and the food is very hygienic
The studies are good the each department according the requirement they bring professor having PhD and other higher educational qualification and this pretty much helps a student through the daily collage life
The placements are good they are pretty much interested in the college it is famous for its placements and they are pretty good at getting as many companies as possible for the welfare of the students
It depends on how one gets admitted through for my CET fee it's pretty good at 50k
Campus life is pretty good all the time
It was great
NIE has a good infrastructure , campus has all infrastructure and all well equipied labs and sports complex . classroom having smart projectors to teach laboratory is good , library was the best and vast . Boys hostel is qyite conjusted but girls hostel was good
Studying Mechanical engineering as it was one of the topmost college in karnataka for mechanical as it has well experienced faculty member and placement team . The curriculum was excellent which was choosen y the departments
NIE has very good placements . as i am fresher i dont know much about the placement percentage but we heard that it has good placement for all the branches . for eg.for mechanical companies like mercedes will come
For CET aided seat fee is 19090 . For CET un-aided seat fee is 58880 . for comed K its around 2.3 lk per year and the college fee will cost around 20,000 . for management quota seat it depends on branch and it costs in or around 10 lk
Campus is bit small and its quite silent as college doesnot encourage ragging and other stuffs the students can lead a peace life in the campus . teaching and non teaching staff are responsive and its located next to mananthavady road so thats bit traffic
Overall the college is GOOD
College is divided into three blocks but it has nice infrastructure and it's is located in good environment ( traffic less area).all facilities and equipments are good.all type of study materials are available in library.yearly clg day is celebrated in a very grand way , all type of sports are encouraged.hostels are very nice..free WiFi is available 24/7.food is hygienic
I am studying be mechanical engineering.national institute of engineering is top for mechanical branch which have 100 percent placements.this is all becoz of good standard faculty.national institute of engineering have eicher workshop which is the only workshop in South india.this makes mechanical engineers to learn about modern things and modern curriculum
For mechanical branch it has 100 percent placements.it is also good for cse and ece.the highest salary package was about 21 laks for cse branch. the placement process is very easy and pleasant.clg is very supportive for placement process..
As I got admission through comedk , my fee is 2.3 lak per year..if u get admission through kcet it costs around 30k to 40k.
College campus is divided into three blocks which are somewt far from each other..but infrastructure and environment is very pleasant.students can learn alot from clg.all faculty members are very frndly..we also have confession group in which we can confess our prbls.every semester a meeting will be held between students and hod of department about the quality of faculty.if we have any issues with faculty we can confess there and get solution for that issues.
At present i am second semester student of mechanical engineering.all faculty members are very frndly..there is ntg more than being frndly with faculty so that we can learn more things about subject..moreover the Important modern type mechanism will be teach here even though it is not part of syllabus.so from my side it is best clg in way of learning modern subjects, have physical activities, workshops etc...
NIE Mysore is generally ranked higher by prominent ranking agencies. For instance, according to NIRF, NIE is ranked in the 151-200 band, while VVCE falls into the 251-300 band.NIE appears to have slightly better placement records, with a higher highest package of 56 LPA and an average package of 9 LPA compared to VVCE's 33 LPA and 6 LPA respectively.
While VVCE offers a good learning environment and encourages student activities, NIE's stronger reputation, better placement records, and autonomous status make it the preferred choice for those seeking a Computer Science-related field.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on your individual preferences, career goals, and the specific program details you are looking for. It is recommended to thoroughly research both institutions, consider campus visits if possible, and talk to current students or alumni to gain a deeper understanding before making a decision.
