Have a question related to UBS Chandigarh ?

    Hi aspirant,

UBS Chandigarh (University Business School) is considered a good choice for people seeking an MBA with a reasonable ROI. The college has a relatively good placement record, with multiple companies visiting campus.
The institution provides a traditional academic setting and is ideal for students looking for a government-affiliated curriculum.

    Hi!

The University Business School of Panjab University offers a two-year, full-time MBA , MBA in Human Resource, MBA in International Business , and MBA in Entrepreneurship programmes. Admission to all these management programmes is based on percentile obtained by candidates in the CAT . The cutoffs for admission to these programmes may vary every year as it depends upon a number of factors such as number of candidates who have applied for admission, and difficulty level of the entrance examination, etc.

Candidates who have obtained somewhere between 85 percentile to 90 percentile in the CAT can expect a GDPI call from UBS Chandigarh . Candidates might also need to clear the sectional cutoffs if stated by the institute. The cutoffs may drop for candidates who belong to reserved categories. Scoring the above stated percentile does not guarantee a GDPI call as this will depend upon a number of factors. However, for the final admission , the following weightage will be given to these components as mentioned below:

    • CAT Score: 85%
    • Group Discussion: 7.5%
    • Personal Interview: 7.5%

Candidates must check the official website of the institute for more updates regarding the cutoffs, and admission process. You can also predict your CAT percentile by using the CAT Percentile Predictor 2024 .

    Hi,

In order to get a call for GD/PI round anything above 88 percentile (general category) may suffice, however the school is doing great year by year so nothing specific could be said. As such there is no percentile that can guarantee you a seat in UBS Chandigarh, since a lot depends upon your GD/PI as well.

UBS has different observed different admission pattern over the past few years. However to ensure your slot in UBS you must score at least 90 percentile if you don’t belong to any reserved category. If you have sports/defence/SC-ST-OBC Qouta then as low as 60 percentile can also get you through the admissions. SGC is another category but it usually closes at 80 percentile.

    Hope this helps
