Which is better for mechanical UIET Hoshiarpur or ccet

CCET would be a better choice than UIET, Hoshiarpur, in all the branches, not just mechanical.

Mechanical in uiet Chandigarh or thapar?

I'll suggest you to go for Mechanical Engineering in Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology as it is among the top private engineering colleges of India and also holds a good placement track record in comparison to that of UIET Chandigarh.

uiet chd , jamia , usict and new iiit which best for btech core and non core branches...

Between jamia and usict , both are equally good. Jamia has better reputation nationally .

For CSE /it/ECE usict maybe better but for core branches jamia is better because of experienced faculty.

New iiits are improving vastly , so they might become much better by the time you pass out . So you can opt for them too.

In CSE average package in jamia is around 3-4 lakhs whereas in iiit Bhubaneswar and others it's quite high. Also you will get tag of a iiitian

Otherwise both are equally good .

What you are saying is that you have got 55442 rank in general category .

I guess you are getting chemical engineering in nit Jalandhar and mechanical engineering in uiet.

If you ask from me then I would suggest you to go with chemical engineering in nit Jalandhar , as I know that you will get there lots of opportunities in other fields also. You will be able to explore your other skills also.

If we consider previous year's cut-offs of this college then there are differences in cut-offs for different category. Please mention your category for accurate answer of your question. Please also refer the below given cut-offs

General - 3937 to 23178
SC - 42386 to 115927
St. - 170215 to 311811

So according to that your admission will be based.

With an SC rank of 15754 and 273000 in CRL of JEE MAINS , can i get admission in UIET or PEC CHD in CSE ?

I got 12.5k rank in upsee can I get UIET kanpur (cse) .And when will the upsee counciling start?

786, it might be a little difficult for you to get CSE in UIET Kanpur. This is based on your UPSEE rank and previous year cutoffs. The admission there for this branch closes at 7000.

You can easily get admission in other branches there.

No you cannot get admission in UIET Kanpur. You rank is too much less . So it is not possible for you to get a government College. You can look for private Colleges. The private Colleges where you can get chance are:
1. Inderprastha engineering college Ghaziabad
2. IIMT Engineering College Greater Noida
3. ITS Engineering College Greater Noida
4. Krishna Engineering College Ghaziabad
5. Sharda University Greater Noida
6. Amity University Noida
These are the private Colleges where you can get admission based on your rank. So do your counselling properly. You should go through counselling till last round of counselling. It also depends on the cutoff list. The cutoff list depends on the number of students appeared in the exam and the level of paper.

College Infrastructure

It left much to be desired as machines were old. The machines were around twenty years older when I was studying, many weren't even working. It troubled us a lot as many of us weren't able to do our experiments.

Good balance between academics and life.

College Infrastructure

Infra of our college is okaish. Everything one may need is present in the college or univerisity campus. Lecture halls are good only for the CS and IT department. All the facilities are present in the university campus in sector 14, but hostels aren't that great and availability of hostels is a major issue for boys. More than half of the students have to live outside of the campus in pgs and apartments.

College Infrastructure

Yes what i feel now that college have all necessary infrastructure, earlier their was shortage of tuckshop but now that too has been installed. Now coming to the clasroom, we have smart boards and Wifi but not AC, and yes library is well maintained. As per our need their are enough equimpments in labs and workshops And yes their is shortage of hostels for students. Hostels are allotted on merit basis. And for food and places, hygiene is averagely maintained.
