Hi,

For CSE,

VIT> MSRIT because,

NIRF ranking of VIT>> MSRIT. Due to greater NIRF ranking, many companies visit VIT for placement including Microsoft, Nutanix, Amazon and others. Though these companies visit MSRIT as well, in the near future VIT will be able to attract more students.

The infrastructure of VIT and exposure is better in VIT. VIT has many national and international MOUs which will help you get research internships as well.

Getting a 9+ CGPA is easy in VIT. Having a 9+ CGPA helps in getting admission to foreign universities. And there is no such attendance criteria if you score 9+.

The only problem with VIT is the batch strength, around 1000+ students compete for the top companies whereas in MSRIT around 300 compete for the same. But if you have good skills and academics you can easily land a job.

Hope this will help you !

Hey aspirant

Chances of getting admission for above rank to cse or ece in first category is very low. For getting first category you need to come under rank 20k. You will get admission for second category. But chances for getting admission in cse and ece for second category is also low. You will get admission in Chennai campus for third category for cse and ece. This is based on previous year trends.
