Hello,
VIT has released the results . Candidates who haven't checked your scorecard can check it by visiting the official website. They can log into their account with valid credentials and download their score card. The slot booking for the counselling has started .
The rank which you obtained is difficult to get in category 1 in VIT Chennai but if you go beyond that till category 3 atleast then you would have fair chances to get that branch. However the allotment of branch depends on the number of vacant seats in that branch, number of applicants in the counselling session.
Dear aspirant,
There is no official cutoff released to back up the data but looking at the previous year trends we can say that a rank below 15-20 k should be good enough to get in category 1. They have increased the number of students intake for cse so there could more relaxation in this number. This is purely predictive and could change based on preference of the students etc.
Hope this helps
Hello Aspirant,
VITEEE is the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam. Vellore Institute of Technology is one of the promising and hugely popular private colleges in India. It has always been a promising private college in India. Vellore Institute of Technology has four campuses in India, i.e. Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amravati.
Based on your rank you can get admission to VIT Chennai.
You may get ECE, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Electrical Engineering too on the Chennai campus.
You may get Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering on the Vellore campus.
Regards.
hi dear
there is no chance for you get cse in vellor and chennai campus with this rank. you may get other branches in category 5 if you want . there is another way for you that is management quota you can get it through management quota.
Hi,

Btech chemical engineering - 19500
Btech civil engineering - 53000

Following data based on the information that is available on the internet.
Hope this will help you !
Well, as you might have known that VIT Bhopal has new campus and so the faculties might not be as good as compared to the Chennai campus, so I reckon you can go for ECE at VIT Chennai campus as it's campus is also more well developed and infrastructured than that of Bhopal campus. But at the same time, campus doesn't matter if you're willingly going to take the course you are interested in since one should not sacrifice it's course field to study further.
Plus, since VIT is a prestigious private college of India, all of it's faculties must be at their best and obviously they are. So you can easily go to any of the either colleges taking any of the courses you're willing to without any doubt.
All the best.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing absolutely great.
So with regard to your query, YES there are really good chances for you to get admission into the any of the four branches of the VIT. As per the recent cutoff trends, you will also be able to get the CSE, Civil, Mechanical, ECE and also EEE branches as well. Don't loose hope, wait until the end of the counselling.

Hi there!
With your rank it is not possible to tell whether you will get the admission at VIT Chennai as the admission is totally based on the closing rank which is determined by institute itself by keeping certain factors on mind:
1- Number of students applied at Institute
2- Number of seat available at Institute.
3- Category of an Individual.
However we can get a rough idea of closing rank by analyzing some previous year cut off.
Hence according to some previous year data the average closing rank is around 14000.
So considering these factors you have slightly low chances for getting admission in VIT Chennai.
You can check the detailed closing rank trends of various branches of VIT Chennai as well as many more colleges which accepts VITEEE score, click here to check it out https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/viteee-cutoff .

hii
As per your question i am honestly saying no you can not get seat in category 1, 2 and 3. There is only way you can get it through management quota.
Dear Student ,
It is difficult to predict the admission chances as each year the cut off can change due to several factors like :
Well, as per VITEEE 2016 cut off , you have very few chances to get any branch in VIT of any domain . To get admission in any VIT , you need to rank min 50K .
You can check VITEEE cut off from here too :

The infrastructure at VIT Chennai is exceptional, surpassing even that of many IITs and other private institutions. The air-conditioned hostels provide comfort, and the quality of food in the mess is commendable.
It has pretty decent infrastructure. We have all the necessity amenities nearby, hence the infrastructure complements the busy student life of engineering. We have Domino's in the campus, also we have in campus gym and salon.
The college's infrastructure is pretty good. Good, well maintained labs and classrooms. Hostels could use for both rooms and wifi availability and better cleaned toilets. The academic blocks are well situated and clean.
