Hello friend, Well both are good colleges. At the end of four years what really matters is your score and getting job with a good company. What i know is E&TC staff teaches really good at PICT. No idea about VIT staff. But anyway, you have to study on your own. From placement point of view, I think both colleges are equivalent.

I would say first decide about your interests. Pointing out the obvious but E&TC is mostly about hardware & CS/IT is about software. I’ve always seen E&TC people saying that it’s tough. Some people even switch from E&TC to CS/IT in second year (but those are FEW high scoring students).

Don’t go hard on yourself; you choose any of the two colleges, it’s not gonna be a big difference if you can study on your own. Also, I’ll recommend considering other factors like campus, hostels, social activities, technical events, etc. I think all the details can be searched online!

Hello aspirant,

VIT Pune is better than Sinhgad,Vadgaon for the Chemical branch but one thing for sure, you will have to pay much more for VIT than Sinhgad.

In Sinhgad, Vadgaon you can get a seat at a much cheaper rate than VIT and most importantly it will be worth the amount you will be paying.

The charges for Sinhgad will be almost one-fourth of VIT.

So, if you can pay a larger amount, then you should definitely join VIT or else Sinhgad is a nice option too in a very cheap rate.

Also keep in mind, all the placements comes mainly for CSE. Hence I would suggest you to join CSE in Sinhgad, Vadgaon.

Thank You!!

Hy there aspirant,

You can get yourself a seat in pict as they accept lateral entries and as you have such a brilliant scoee I'm your diploma . They will surely help you to take admission directly in second year . You just have to talk to the administration and submit all your oringnals . Wishing you luck

Hi Vedant! First of all congrats, you got the seat. Now talking about placements I would say that it depends a lot on you and also on your collegr. You need to work hard, learn the necessary skills, develop your communication skills and your college need to work hard too to invite the companies for campus selection.

Hello Rafe Ahmed,

VIT Pune is a private institute located in Bibwewadi, Pune. It is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. It offers 9 Undergraduates, 8 postgraduates, and 6 Ph.D. programmes. Admission to a certain course is based on the entrance exam like JEE Mains/MHTCET(B. Tech), GATE/MHTCET(M. Tech), MAH MCA CET(MCA). The total course fee for BE Mechanical Engineering is INR 4,90,000.

Best wishes.

Hi,

When VIT Pune was given autonomy, the seats that were increased were called off the second shift. There is no particular difference between anything, just timings may be different. There is no discrimination on the basis of professors. No one faces any problem and all the teachers are present for you if you need help irrespective of shift.

I hope I was able to clear your query

thank You
